This week's First Viewing is particularly entertaining, as Doug and Rob slowly succumb into madness while watching Freddy Got Fingered. Worth watching, if only for their reaction to the Institute for the Sexually Molested Children scene.

I was wondering how the initial reaction to that particular scene went and I was not disappointed.

Big Fat Liar

Somehow I had to stumble upon this the day after watching another noughties movie with Frankie Muniz…

Pretty funny and well-paced review overall. Hell, some of the scenes of the movie itself had me chuckle.

I like how he's been doing some slightly older films recently.

And I bet he needed a harmless kid flick after last week's abomination.

He's doing a lot more jokes where the punchline is interrupted by the next joke. I assume he's been binging Red Letter Media. Also, whenever I notice whenever he does a review spotlighting an actor he never talked about before, he usually tries to reference ALL notable films he/she has been in, which makes the review kind of packed.

Finally saw his Freddy Got Fingered review. I'd previously only seen 2 clips of the film... those told me all I needed to know

Which ones, if you don't mind me asking?

The one where he gropes the horse dick and the sausage keyboard scene

Wasn't Paul Giamatti considered for the role of the Joker in Nolan's The Dark Knight?

I haven't heard of that but he would've been an interesting choice.

That Institute for the Sexually Molested Children scene...wow. Just...just wow.

It is like someone took the Fate Stay Night (Un)-Holy Grail and multiplied it by a factor of ten, and then pureed it for stew that night.

Well, only the stuff that looks like interesting review material, but yeah.

Yeah, basically I don't even care to hold anyone to any standard of good behavior any more - I watch what I watch.

I heard one Youtube commenter suggest Repo! The Genetic Opera, which I'd honestly love to see. I'm really curious what Doug thinks of that one, given how divisive it is.

I'd like him to go for one of the Nightmare on Elm Street sequels.

Ooh, maybe. He'd probably go for Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare if he decided to look at that series.

Speaking of slasher franchise sequels, I also remember him saying that he considers Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday to be a guilty pleasure, so it'd be interesting to hear him talk about that one in more detail.
