I may be misremembering, but I’m pretty sure the bone is there because it’s the grave of one of the dogs who was in the amalgam in Undertale? You can check it at the end of chapter 1, and the other graves (besides Gerson’s) belong to Snowy’s mom and Shyren’s sister, both of whom were among the “fallen down” monsters.

It's kind of ironic that Papyrus is one of the first main characters you find in Undertale, but so far not shown after 2 chapters in Deltarune.

I removed it from the NF page. Incidentally, despite my first impression of the Weird Route was it being fake (I mean, who didn't think it was fake at first?), the mere existence of the video was enough to convince me because no one could have modded the game that thoroughly or created that long an animation that quickly. However, the Papyrus grave is such an easy text replacement, anyone trying to spread rumors of that around will have to put in a little more effort.

I would be okay with them but so many of them seem so damn Sans-centric it gets boring. Well except Undynetale obviously. That's a refreshment. But I feel like half of these are an excuse to draw just Sans in differen toufits
Underfell is still kinda trash and stupid tho. Nothing like an AU that goes out of its way to miss the point of the original game. Just for the sake of edge

In fact, I doubt any of the Undertale cast would be killed off or worse in this game. It would look too edgy and cheap. "Hey, it's all your massive fan favorites from the previous game in this new game! They are only here to die for this new plot! What a twist!"

Speaking as a fan of Undertale, I'm super fine with more focus on the new cast over the old.
Sure it's nice to see sans and Toriel, but I'm also really digging Susie and Ralsei.

As an Undertale AU maker myself the obsession with edhe, Sans, abd personality swapping irks me too. Seriously Undertale is z tapestry of interesting themes and concepts. Sans isn't the only thing there is.

Fuckin tell me about it. Its ridiculous just how Sans-obssessed the fandom is to the point I start to resent him for it.
Would sans even be that popular if not for the Genocide route?
And of course, he's the content pick for Smash Bros, so his popularity or being seen as THE character for Undertale will not decrease anytime soon.
He also has the most mysterious lore behind him with many unanswered questions from UT. And the fact that people ate trying to establish a plot link between UT and Deltarune and sans is the only cast member in the new universe acknowledging that connection.

I still love sans and I don't really dive much into the fandom, so I guess I'm not affected by that stuff.

IF is the best AU by far. I've been trying to up my The Crystal Caverns AU (Fusion Fic between Undertale and Steven Universe) quality to a big degree, but regardless I'm not in a position to comment on it's quality.
