Greetings, Froggy baby Sweetie Honey!!
This one kills me every time, and the ending is amazing.
The Grover and Fat Blue/Mr. Johnson skits are always fun as well:

So someone on the Muppet Central Discord Server found somehow uncovered an official pitch tor a Sesame Street movie that looks absolutely bonkers, and I really hope someone will talk about it with me:
Apparently this was somehow inspired by "Sesame Street Fever" a disco album they did in the 70s.

How anyone managed to get this out of the Sesame Street Disco album, I'll have no idea.
I particularly like how they even point out what a terrible idea this was.
Someone on the discord server even wrote a minific for this trainwreck!
WIFE: But those damn puppets teach him everything he knows, Husband. All I know is how to paint oranges!
HUSBAND: And they're damn fine oranges too, but he can’t survive on them!
WIFE: So, what? Do you just want to send him back to the foster system? Huh, Husband?
(cut to child spying on their conversation through the bannister)
CHILD: Back to foster care? But everything was going so— (grandfather clock inexplicably chimes. they don’t own a grandfather clock) Child: Gee whillikers, it's 10:00! Time for The Grover, Maria, Big Bird, And All Their Friends Show! I can worry about divorce in an hour!
Psychologist: I hate to tell you this, ma'am. But your impending divorce is severely negatively impacting your son. His overreliance on his "tv friends" is what we in the business like to call — Sesame Street Fever. We recommend taking away your custody immediately.

Happy Birthday Jerry Nelson!
Floyd, Gobo, Count, Robin, the left head of the two headed monster, Frazzle, Mr. Johnson (Fat Blue from the waiter grover sketches), Trash Heap, The Amazing Mumford, Statler for a while, and plenty of other recurring and one-shot characters!

Starting a Muppet sketch of the day post:
Starting with a classic fan favorite, but I'll also take requests.
(Putting it in both Sesame and Muppets for now, since I'm going to be drawing from multiple Muppet franchises, although it might switch to just the Muppet thread after a while.)

Since it’s the first day (and I can’t help myself), here’s an extra special second Muppet Sketch of the day:
According to ToughPigs, in addition to The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo being removed from HBO Max, over 200 episodes of the main series are gone as well.
As noted in the article, the streaming service used to have one of the largest collection of classic Sesame Street episodes. Now it's only 27.
This comes off the heels of sudden removal of a ton of HBO Max original programming.

I feel like this is either going to be temporary or they're moving to yet another streaming service.
New theme music also a boxYeah, I’m pretty sure that any good-will that WB had built up with sesame workshop has been unceremoniously destroyed at this point.

Sneak Peak of Sesame Street the Musical
KERMIT ON THE STREET!
This street story hasn’t resurfaced in decades, and actually features a rare instance of Kermit on Sesame Street itself!

As a treat for anyone that bothers to read this, more Henson on The Street!
This one has Kermit, Ernie, and Guy Smiley, in a rare instance of him showing up outside of the inserts!

So, Bob McGrath, who played longtime resident Bob Johnson from its 1969 inception until 2016, has died today at the age of 90.
Given that, do you think the program will do a tribute to Bob?

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I completely forgot his character was named "Bob Johnson".
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.I saw that Bob's last name was mentioned in a pilot episode. I'm old enough to have watched SS in the 1970s and don't remember hearing it. Same for Gordon and Susan. On the other hand, I don't know Mr. Hooper's first name.
I hope he’s up there partying with Carrol, Emilio, Alaina, Jim, Jerry, Richard, and so many others
Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar, and interestingly, Kermit, have all posted to pay their respects. (Kermit’s was even retweeted by the official Muppets account.)

Of course, Loretta Long (Susan Robinson) is now the last surviving original human actor on Sesame Street.
