Alright, so dream moon wise I don't care who's what, I'll just fill in whatever space is left of the four we've got so far. The style of subconscious genetic coding for the First Guardian has been either a Dersian girl (Rose and Roxy) or a team effort (the trolls), and we can use either. As for what the Guardian should be I'm thinking of sticking with a less than fully communicative animal, so that I as the GM don't have to handle too may characters (since I assume I'll already be dealing with NP Cs and the like). It could either be a pet of one of our characters, probably Troy, or it could be freeroaming like GCAT. I'm leaning towards the latter, just because that means it will only need to appear when we need it to appear, but if you guys have other ideas be sure to say something.

First: Troy is Prospitian.

Second: Yeah, I like the latter idea, as I don't need to parade a pet around.

Which makes Kkut's Derse. I don't really have much preference for Derse or Prospit either way. I guess writing the journal probably fits Lena better than Maya, so I can do that.

Um, some kind of free-roaming animal... A raccoon? Some kind of bird?

If we want male/female per planet ratios then that would make Maya a Prospitian. And yeah, it would make sense if the animal in question was an independent roamer like a cat or a raccoon.

I vote raccoon because God Raccoon is just kinda funny to me.

I can see Justin and God Raccoon having an odd staring thing whenever they "meet". Though, how would our characters have met and the ectobiology shouldn't be too complicated. Any ideas how a Heir of Time would work? I can see a Knight of Space having teleport spam, localized gravity manipulation and possibly razor wind but not sure how a Thief of Doom/Maid of Hope would function.

For Thief of Doom she steals the equivalent of fate, like as far as I've interpreted it Sollux's powers seem to be based around the concept of inevitability, sort of like time but more sinister and less controllable, and it also is the known anthesis of Life, which means it deals a lot with death, which of course is the ultimate inevitability.

How I envisioned Thief of Doom working was that it's actually a really self-destructive title. Like, you take death into yourself, which is obviously not good. It serves more of a healing role, as in, Maya steals the Doom of others and bolsters their chances while taking their burdens onto herself. Which fits into her matronly role.

I also vote G Raccoon. And I may or may not have planned to have alchemy later on that involves a weapon on planetary proportions. (So sorry)

A Maid of Hope, according to the accumulated knowledge of the Internet, would be someone who is full of, surrounded with, and creates hope, and uses it to heal and protect others. Hope according to the wiki can e the power of faith - basically Clap Your Hands If You Believe (see: Eridan's white science) or alternatively someone who keeps the literal hope for the team and session alive. So basically my role will be in part the group's cheerleader using hope in both senses of having faith we'll succeed and work together, as well as giving others that same hope. Or one who through believing in the team is able to provide buffs and debuffs in battle. Also blasty holy magic

A Knight of Space would be one who uses space to attack, obviously. So teleports, controlling size change, the laws of physics, there's a lot you can do. Unfortunately you also have to be the one who's frog-breeding when we need you in battle. So it's a bit of a mixed bag. Also, space players are typically dream-awake before the session starts.

The Heir of Time will be protecting himself with time and using time to fight. Slowing down enemies or speeding yourself up, possibly rapidly aging something. You could also e the one protecting the team by making sure our time loops are stable and such.

The Page of Mind would be one who has a lot of potential in Mind, or gives Mind to others. So, it could be one who develops into basically being able to read people like a book, Sherlock-style. It could also be someone who helps the party plan, or gives party members aid in guessing the actions of enemies.

The Prince of Light has a couple options. One who destroys through light would be one who messes with the luck of opponents to help themselves, a bit like Vriska did. It could also be one who destroys fate and fortune - basically being able to Screw Destiny. How this interacts with the whole doomed timeline thing should be fun.

I can see it now. Troy just: WHEEEEEEEEE on Prospit, then G Raccoon claws at his face, and his dreamself plummets to the ground.

I like those title interpretations. Assuming they grow properly into their roles they'll be a hell of a team later on. And G!Rac is our new First Guardian. Jason and Lena are Dersian and Troy and Maya are Prospitian. And do be sure to elaborate on that weapon when we're close to that point, mirminun.

Is there anything anyone else can think of? If not I think we're good to begin a 4 player session.

Heh, most of those interpretations are Frankensteinian fusions of wiki entries and tumblr bloggers more aware of this kind of thing than I. But yeah, I think that's about everything, assuming the Homestuck wiki on session constants hasn't lead me astray.

Though what about our characters relations? Plus there's the Black/White royalty, their rings and our Sprites.

You mean their guardians? Because the intercharacter relations seem to be just 'Internet friends.' Also we'll be roleplaying the prototypings, so planning out those aspects of Derse and Prospit is counterproductive. Though every session has a Jack Noir ally character and a WV army rebellion character, apparently, if that's what you're asking about.

Edit: Hey, d'you think we'll do the poetry thing here? If so, then I found a couple that sort of fit:

Or, 'they wait for she who would go when the great gods die to ride her mother's road'. Since it's about the world post-Ragnarok, and that sort of thing, it seems to fit. (Also, the 'maid' thing is too good to pass up.)

Also,

Or, 'they wait for he who would take up the trees and shape men of them' which fits Troy really well, considering the whole tree association, and that he's creating the new universe/life.

For our Thief of Doom, I think that 'they wait for she who would take warriors through the tumult unscathed and unhurt' fits fairly well given her self-sacrificial thing.

Incidentally from the same thing, I feel like 'they wait for xe who would sing the wind to sleep and calm a storm' would be awesome but I don't know who it would be for.

Character relations will be the standard online friends (standard as possible given the specific isms of this group). I'll control all plot necessary NP Cs when need be. And order we can determine on the fly, if we start Troy -> Lena then we can easily go in whatever order from there. Poetry is also a personal preference, I always do something for my characters, but so far in my two years of on and off Homestuck RP I've been the only player I've seen do it.

Opener will be up in a few hours if there are no objections.

By the way, why are we calling Maya by a gender neutral pronoun? I didn't design her with gender fluidity or dysphoria in mind.
