Yep, this is gonna be the show that rivals Madoka Magica in terms of epic female-oriented action Magical Girl Warrior anime.

More like Rival Pretty Cure, Both of them outclass Madoka Magica to me.

...I'm not sure how you can compare this to Madoka with a straight face. Honestly, I think that's probably an insult to both shows.

Yeah, Madoka Magica's fighting is rather bad on the whole, IMO, as it's the characterization that matters there more.

Well that was pretty much as gloriously over-the-top as I expected . Definitely the most entertaining first ep I've seen so far.

I liked it more than I was expecting to, but I'm wondering how they're going to stretch this out to two cours, at least while maintaining the energy it has so far

Do what they did with Gurren Lagann, do Serial Escalation out the ass, I suppose.

As you'll see in the first post of this thread, it seems that there's gonna be CHARACTER DRAMA, so some episodes will probably be slower than others.

Kill la Kill is trying way too hard even for Gainax Trigger series. Also it's mecha series in thin disguise.

Still very much entertaining. Gonna keep watching.
