This is the rallying call of shallow minded twerps far more interested in covering up crippling insecurity and projecting a hollow image of sagely wisdom. In reality it tends to mean they'll swallow whatever's vomited down their throats in order to appear "learned" when they're really lacking in both taste and standards.
