Would Kryptonians be considered critically endangered or extinct in the wild? How does the endangered species classification work for sapient alien species anyway? There's Superman, Supergirl, the phantom zoners, Superboy, etc. Depending on the continuity, at least one surviving member.

Something along the lines of "endangered, but more of them keep showing up so hell if I know, really."

Speaking of which, in the comics Supes can probably have kids with humans, right? Or is that another one of those things that gets retconned one way or another off and on like a light switch?

[up]yes. to the retcons. it used to be possible via alternate universes, but in the main they said no. but now we got a future kid of clark and lois running around.

Well... to be fair, that son had to have extensive genetic modification by to survive his body nearly crapping out on him in the first place. And even then, the clone Superboy was grown to have a close enough genetic code to save the son after that.

Sometimes life just sucks. You have to learn to take the good with the bad. Why should you expect anything different in the mediums?

What would happen if someone broke into Clark Kent's apartment, while he was in there? [lol]

Muggingthe Monster? How many times has Clark been mugged? Or attempted murder victim as Clark Kent?

Heck, in one story Clark Kent was kidnapped and brainwashed to assassinate Superman. (Worked about as well as you'd expect.)

Hey - with the ever-growing decline of newspapers today - how do you guys think The Daily Planet, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, and Perry White's job and role in the story will change?

whether on paper or online, a leading news source like the Daily Planet still needs reporters, editors, and photographers. they'll be fine.

Is the planet Krypton named after the element? Or is it just a coincidence? Are there any other planets in DC comics named after elements? Argon?

I made a page for Last Son. I liked how that story was mostly a modernized Superman II. I thought it did a better job at that than Man of Steel.

I've been watching a bit of Lois And Clark lately, and it seems they changed General Zod's name to Nor.

I wonder, why did they change General Zod's name in both Superman TAS and Lois and Clark? Was that part of the "Superman is last Kryptonian" editorial mandate in the 90's?

Actually, General Zod appears in the DCAU continuity but in the comics, Not!Zod is supposed to be someone else.

I know that everyone has said this previously, but I would really, really, love a Superman game developed by rocksteady studios. A game that does justice to Superman. Features a lot of Superman's baddies like Lex Luthor, General Zod, Bizarro, Doomsday, and Lobo. I do have a few ideas;

The game would be called Superman: Invasion and will be available for Play Station 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will take place in an evacuated Metropolis where Alien monsters have taken over, and Superman has decided to kick them off his planet. He meets a bunch of enemies along the way, and a big plot is involved, complete with side quests. An exclusive set of challenge maps will be available for Xbox One owners where they play as Lex Luthor in his power armor. A possible song for the trailers will be Everybody Wants to Rule the World similar to Short Change Hero from Batman Arkham City.

I actually liked the 2006 Superman Game's interpretation where Superman is invulnerable but Metropolis itself is his health bar.

[up] Makes sense considering Superman tends to place others above himself. But I'd imagine if rocksteady made a Superman game, they'd want to market it to the Batman: Arkham crowd. So Supes would get his own lifebar, while the enemies he faces would be aliens who are close to his power level.

A Rocksteady style game play set only applies to the specific kinetics of Batman and other martial art base heroes.

For something like Superman you'd have to go from the ground up, applying apples to oranges usually gives you shit. Don't think like a suit.

[up] Of course, they would have to play around with flight, as well as combat in flight.

But I still think a Superman game modeled after the Arkham series would be great.

The Arkham games are based on Stealth, Martial Arts and Urban Exploration. None of those apply to Superman.
