Nick kills tons of good shows like this.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Same with CN.
They only ever show 2 or 3 shows at most on regular scheduling and leave everything else to die.
I’m honestly surprised PR is still going considering Nick has never treated it well from day one with Samurai.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The first year of Dino Fury is the last year of the Nick contract, so there is a chance there'll move somewhere else.
These networks need to change their attitude, cuz they keep losing so much money with their potential.
Seriously, had Nickelodeon just let Nicktoons not screw over Yu Gi Oh Arc-V and VRAINS, they would've helped Konami made mad money, give Glitch Techs actual network viewership, there's like 10 shows they could've pushed more and people would respect the channel a lot more.
Just how do these poor decisions end up getting made for shows? Does anyone with better understanding of the tv industry have some kind of answer?
Favoritism towards their in-house properties plus parameters they have.
It's one of those things that maybe it looks to us like bad ratings, but if they were that bad they would have dropped the show a while ago. They might be bad at naked eye, but they're "good enough" for them.
Say whatever you want about Nick's treatment of Power Rangers. ANY other property would have been cancelled by now. I know PR isnt thriving or anything. But it is outlasting.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Speaking of, the new Transformers cartoo is going to be on Nick. Guess they have a good partnership, it might be a sign that PR might stay there for the foreseeable future.
Now all we need is the next My Little Pony to be announced for Nick and they'll all get an hour-and-a-half block that's called Mini-The Hub.
Hasbro set to "reinvent" Power Rangers.
Confirms various projects on multiple levels including live action and animation.
Okay so that’s it, the partnership with Toei is over.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I guess they'll be following their own themes from here on. Will they stick with the MMPR setting? Zordon Era? Everything prior to the split? Will they even be allowed to retain footage, costumes, or concepts? Hmm. I'd need to see the contract.
Still, Hasbro offers no shortage of universes to connect MMPR to, and no shortage of concepts to borrow ideas from, even without connecting franchises. They do own Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Magic the Gathering after all. Plus My Little Pony and other products.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThey get to keep the designs of every sentai that got adapted. Yeah, even the seconds some pre-PR Sentai teams in Super Megaforce got.
I was expecting PR to be integrated into their attempt of a cinematic universe, but it seems they'll keep it separated and make a cinematic universe of their own.
At the very least I hope they don’t only focus on the MMPR era and do stuff with the other shows.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I fully expect that we'll mostly get rangers based on the MMPR versions. And occasional nods to other parts of the franchise. Based on how Hasbro deals with Transformers (Always going back to having Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee and Starscream). Which isn't to say each shows will be identical MMPR, but Hasbro likes having a core set of I Ps and characters and motifs to work from.
Does that include stuff like the Diaranger suits? Or stuff taken from a season that was adapted, even though those particular elements weren't used in that adaptation?
...Super Megaforce counts? Dang, that's really generous. Also, the Dairanger costumes were underrated.
I just realized, I don't think we have any character tropes entries for Saba. I'm not planning on adding any anytime soon, but if someone did, would it go under Tommy's page or under the MMPR allies page? And for that note, what do we do/have we been doing about sentient Zords? Listing them under allies?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThey appeared in Super Megaforce, so yes.
I was hoping they could do a Kyuranger adaptation first...
Oh well. It was rather inevitable once Hasbro and Bandai of America were getting involved in Sentai/Rangers. Plus it might open the doors for Sentai get adaptations in under their original label a la what happened with Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons.
Yeah, Kyuranger costume designs and returning to having Rangers of multiple worlds would've been cool.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy...so the day has in fact come. Never thought it would be possible. At least it seems to have been an “amicable divorce,” you might say.
I hope this leads to some more unique motifs and themes for PR seasons.
My one hope here is that they don't focus stupidly heavily on MMPR. Given the tendency for nostalgia-baiting, there is a very real risk they'll do that. MMPR is just a heavy case of First Installment Wins reinforced with nostalgia, but if you discount that I don't think there's anything special about it.
I've been discussing the new movie on... a certain other forum, and a lot of people seem 100% convinced that it will definitely be MMPR-based, and that this is the right decision. I really hope they're wrong; we literally got an MMPR reboot movie a few years ago, and most of the things I liked about it weren't things it took from MMPR.

...The way things used to be, for so many shows.
