Heavy Slams will also suspend enemies in the air in a manner similar to Rhino's Stomp.

The new stance system is a mixed bag for me. On one hand, Clashing Forest is horribly clunky and annoying to use now, but the stat buffs and changes to Sword and Shields make Sigma & Octantis as well as Silva & Aegis Prime rip through everything.

I wish enemies wouldn't float away while I'm using the Lacera though.

Heat proc got some changes.

So it acts like corrosive except you don't permanently reduce armor, just to 50%?

I mean, if an enemy has 10000 armor and reduce it to 5000, it's still way too high, it'd not be good against bombards or heavy gunners if you face them at level 100

I think the way it works is that you can stack heat procs to do more damage over time, and while the enemy has at least one heat proc, their armor is halved, but I'm not really sure yet. I'm just going by the forum post explaining the changes; I haven't done any testing.

Got Grendel. He's... a little odd. Not bad, but a bit to get used to. Somehow manages to be both a support class and a front line damage dealer at the same time.

Got my Lich, think the whole murmur farm is just unnecessary. You already have to farm a bunch of extra stuff for the Lich, adding that seems like rubbing salt in the wound.

Also, finally mastered all the amps. Got a few affinity boosters from Old Blood, used them to master three amps in as many days.

Haven't been back in a while. Heh.

So the kuva weapons are.... aggravating, to put it mildly. So far I've gotten 1 Ayanga, 1 Kohm, 1 Tonkor, and 10 Quartakk.

The worst part is when your lich spawns with a weapon you don't want, there is NOTHING you can do about it. You MUST complete the lich, no matter what.

Ash Prime and Vauban Prime are out of the vault, along with Fragor Prime, Akstiletto Prime, Vectis Prime, and Carrier Prime. Ash, in particular, has been vaulted for a long time. Most of his parts look easy enough to grab. I've been missing just the chassis for over a year now.

So how's the booben rework I heard of?

I like Nu Vauban a lot.

There's a fun new build based around his #2 Scatter mine thats very useful for Disruption I find, even did a Vauban Disruption Arbitration with it.

And yeeting pokeballs at enemies to call down orbital bombardment is fun.

I still have my booben, the regular, not prime. Once...I get back, if I do, I'll give him a whirl.

So after 3 straight arbitration attempts in which I died a good 5-7 seconds in, I remember I had a coupon. So I have Grendel now. Because arbitration can toss my salad.

So his 1 is basically Hydroid's drowning pool, but you're mobile. There are interesting things that can be done with that.

Is that an exaggeration? Because I've managed to last a good few rotations in Arbitration as long as I specifically made sure to only jump in Infested ones. Infested Arbitrations are always the easiest.

You definitely need a survivalist 'frame (first rule: ignore the bonuses they give to specific weapons and 'frames, just go with what you're most comfortable with) and decent mods, but you can survive a couple rounds without a perfect Game-Breaker kit.

Especially now that there is a way to revive you if you go down.

Ember got a very, very good rework as well. Her new damage mitigation mechanic is balanced by a need to regulate a heat gauge, which immediately made me think of Rumble from League of Legends. She's the exact opposite of how she used to be played: Instead of "fire and forget," she's got a much more active, engaging play style. Also, she summons meteors from the sky, so that's pretty neat.

Gave Vauban a shot in the aforementioned failed arbitration. (Hey, 300% boost? Vauban in a defense? Seemed like a good move, until I remembered I was guarding an operative, not a stationary target.) The new 1 is an interesting addition, although I died before I could give the orbital laser a shot.

Vauban Arbitration works great with Minelayer build. Max Strength, Max Duration, fuck range. Just put your 4 scatter mines around and see how they shoot everything. At least in the Disruption I did it with.

Yeah, this isn't Empyrean, this is Rising Tide, which is just the drydock. Don't get me wrong, it's smart to get that out of the way first, since the servers always get overloaded with major content patches, so doing this a few weeks early is a good idea.

My guess is that we're getting Empyrean proper near the end of the year. Last big update, with the Liches and everything, was in October, and the big ones typically come out every two months.

Baza Prime.

Oh sweet, it's gonna make covert missions even better with a more kickass silent SMG! Base Baza is nice but kinda too mod-needy.
