Or the old man is an invention of the Fairy Tale version of the story, and the actual fact is something else.
Do we really need to have this new power entering the picture, when we don't even know the full extense of what Aura and Semblance is capable of?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.MYSTERY
and by mystery i mean vagueness
Surprised no one suggested that Shopkeep was the old man from the story.
Random thought.
It would awesome to have a character whose weapon is...motherfucking Pile Bunker.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. So you want Slayer to be a character in RWBY? Okay! I'm totally up for that!
A corpse should be left well enough alone...In the next episode, I really want Cinder to wear a shirt that blatantly says: "I AM EVIL!" on it, just to see if anybody gets the message.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?So is the new World of Remnant this Sunday (Monday for me) or the next? I also remember a podcast talking about Q&A's or something.
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.I don't mind the light tone they are going for the 1st seasons but honestly they should have done it more like HP have more seasons focused on school life and devlopment and then went into Cinder stuff. They have build her up but not as much as they should have
anyone feel like we're being told rather than shown how bad the Schnee cooperation is? It's the same issue with the Faunus supposed oppression.
Also, what do you guys think of the idea of characters swapping out destroyed weapons for new ones?
That WOR was fluff but now i have a pretty good idea of what Cinder is planning to do

What was it about?
"Cross-Continental Transist System" is the name of the WOR ep.
Sponsors-only for now, but boy, hyped.
Big GrahIt would awesome to have a character whose weapon is...motherfucking Pile Bunker. evil grin
I'd rather see the Grifshot.

I told y'all my fantasy weapon, a pair of chain guns that turn into chainsaws held together by a length of chain-
-wielded by an elegant dancer type.
Basically, if Cinder can shut off the CCTT, the world will be without internet, any form of long-range communication, scrolls and calling on scrolls, and essentially any form of communication but radio or courier. That's effectively throwing the entire world into confusion with one move.
What do you think is on the dragon-shaped island?
The Wo R is now viewable for people who aren't sponsors. I've just watched it. It doesn't tell us anything we hadn't already guessed, but it's good to hear it all confirmed.
Dust being less effective the further from the planet you get, so that it doesn't work in space, is interesting. Not at all surprising, but nice to have it confirmed. I feel that's been slipped in because at some point we're going to learn the truth about the moon and why the world is called 'Remnant' and Dust is the key to that. It's clear that air travel is seen as the safest method of travel, despite the fact we know there are aerial Grimm, but the most interesting thing is the confirmation of just how limited technological advancement is - civilisation is so dependent on Dust-based technology that it seems to be in the dark ages at best with non-Dust technology.... if Dust has to be mined, it has to be finite. At some point, the mines have to dry up. And then what'll happen to civilisation?
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Yeah I think they are setting a Chevhovs Gun in the most subtle way possible...hiding it in the manual
They rely on Dust so much..it's going to suck if it runs out
Wow, this mini episode just made the White Fang even bigger jerks. Because if dust powers everything then what happens when dust supplies don't reach their intended destination?
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2The people with night vision take over.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyIsn't that part of the point? I wonder how many companies control Dust mining/supply, and if there are Dust cartels? The Schnee can hold civilisation hostage with supply and pricing. Think of oil barons in real life; Dust, and those who control Dust, will be in a similar position. If Cinder cuts off Dust supplies, she's attacking the Dust suppliers as well as civilisation.
Ozpin's group says war is coming. Ironwood says it's not a war between nations. What if the coming wars will, in part, be over Dust? How much negativity will be created for Grimm to react to if people are faced with the collapse of civilisation because there's no more Dust? Let's face it - the CCTS is going to rely heavily on Dust if all technology does, as does protecting people from the Grimm.

That old man is either Ozpin or Ozpin is his successor. The image of the old man may have included a hat and beard, but it was basically Ozpin's silhouette and colour scheme, and Ozpin is the kind of character that's only kind and wise with age/experience, having started out - or gone through a phase of being - a complete arsehole or even a villain. However, it's possible the old man's powers might be inheritable in a contrasting way to the Four Maidens: inheritance by older men (not younger men or females), making Ozpin the current inheritor of the old man's powers.
Ozpin's group is concerned about the 'unimaginable power' of the Four Maidens, but seems suspiciously unconcerned about the possible existence of an old man with 'unimaginable power' who could create the Four Maiden powers in the first place. Either that's part of what Qrow says is being withheld from Pyrrha until they know her decision or it's part of what Ironwood suspects Ozpin is withholding from everyone.
