The Humongous Mecha RP (Discussion)

Hey JR, are there Hero Discounts in this world? It makes sense to lower your prices so the heroes have an easier time saving the world. If you care more about money than overall world saving then its amazing how such a world survives.

To be honest I didn't really think about it that much.

SERVE has the proper money and resources to clean up and pay for any damages made during a fight.

As for rewards for heroes, Let me think about it.

I just figured it wouldn't be pivotal to the plot as it is.

For someone who nearly died in a mecha failure, was hideously burned and had to have extensive surgery Faith is relatively sane and unscarred mentally.

So is there going to be a time-skip or are we going to get to spend some time properly meeting with each other?

Do you guys want a time skip or do you want some rest for the sake of developing characters?

I'm not entirely sure currently I just want Dan and Summer to adjust to their current situation and get to know their mechs.

Well I vote no time-skip, there's still plenty we can do.

Akio is the one with least issues in the team from the looks of it, to maybe Only Sane Man status

Well, Alphonse has no big problems, but he ain't a man either, so I guess you deserve it

Emil's impulsive and highly assertive, once he has his mind set on something; it'll take a lot to stop him from acting on it. He also wants to ensure that whomever's going to take up arms against the alien scum is better or at least as good as him, so that's why he pulled that stunt off.

I say we enjoy our character development time, although my char has a lot of issues that help him make the worst impression without even meaning it. =P

I just realized something, wouldn't S.E.R.V.E worry that the quitters might expose any of their secrets? Furthermore, wouldn't Eduard's father force him to join again or at least take away his mecha for someone else to use? S.E.R.V.E would at least study these mechas so they could learn any useful technological features and/or any weaknesses in case these mecha are used against them. I'm not too sure about the Power Twins, but if they been with S.E.R.V.E for a while they surely wouldn't quit everything because one guy tried to kill them. That's too be expected, and their bio states "Even so, once the S.E.R.V.E Initiative began, it was clear they would be a perfect fit." So wouldn't that be a contradiction?

Anyways, wanted to ask about Mecha Upgrades and the Monsters. Will you give more detailed information on the Boss Monsters later, and how often/extensive will you allow Mecha Upgrades to be?

I didn't take that into consideration since whatever they have to say about SERVE would be already known. They don't know any of SERVE's secrets.

And for the record. SERVE would be nice enough to let the pilots keep their mechs, studying them to reverse any useful technological features and/or any weaknesses in case wouldn't be needed. They have a contigency plan if their mechs are turned against them.

I'm getting tired of being asked so many questions especially when some of them will addressed in the game. So have patience.

The monsters we'll be facing will be described in detail when we encounter them, feel free to suggest feature of a monster for our next battle. I will allow plenty of mech uprades just as long as your aren't too powerful if you get what I mean. Everyone has to have an equal chance in this.

Are we going to timeskip to the next day now or should we have some more interaction? I'm having Hiroko show up in the next day, but I'm not in a hurry to do it, just wondering.

I'm not doing a time skip for my characters currently.

So I don't know for you guys.

And Faith seems way too angry at Summer. Geez.
