All-Purpose One Piece Fanfiction Thread

No actual violence or the like is depicted, if that's what you're worried about. Just... Sad tragedy.

If I wanted sad tragedy, it would be enough to take a stroll around the city. And unlike fanfics, that kind of sad tragedy I can actually do something about.

Besides, Nico Robin is, perhaps, my only favorite character in One Piece. I don't want to see her get through even worse thorns than in canon if it doesn't lead to any stars.

It's a Bittersweet Ending.

So, someone did a One Piece crossover with Overlord using the plot-device of inter-universal travel, and of course, as fitting the nature of the latter, the title protagonist more or less assembles a harem of One Piece natives (both canon/filler characters and OCs), though only two seem to have become his actual Mistresses by the sequel AFAIK (or maybe the others are waiting in the One Piece world). My only real gripe about the harem angle is that the apparent hook of pursuing Nami and Robin from the early chapters seems to have been completely abandonded. Then again, I'm wondering about ways to have our favorite Evil Overlord manage to seduce those two women in light of the fact that he killed their captain without using Mind Control.

The Straw Hats' Nakamahood is mighty. I don't think courting Robin and Nami ( after having killed Luffy) is even remotely possible without usage of high-grade Mind Control.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. What if the Luffy-killing was accidental, though?

On a tangential note, what do you think of the Overlord games?

If the Luffy-killing was accidental, then.... if the Overlord doesn't show remorse for it, then yeah, it is pretty much impossible. If the Overlord does regret the tragic accident, then it's technically in the realm of possibility, but I still don't see it happening.

Can't really say, since I've never played either of the Overlord games.

It's only two chapters right now and we are currently working the third chapter. I have started this fanfic for two reasons, the first being for the sake of doing a Robin story that's different from most typical Robin stories that other people are writing now and days, the second was to promote my Rokushiki Robin project by using the techniques from it into the story since a lot of people wanted to see them used in a fan fiction for a long time so I gave in. I hope you guys like it.

"Spin off" (semi-prequel) to the "Numbers Game" story written above. While Numbers Game was more of a mystery in the vein of the Star Trek The Next Generation episode it was based on, with the romance being a mere side-product, this is the story that sets up the relationship in one of the alternate realities of Numbers Game, so is romantic in nature, but also builds itself heavily as a character study, lots of Zoro and Robin reflecting on themselves and what motivates the other, woven through an adventure that contains one big Monster Hunter reference, as well as bits of The Iliad and Indian mythology.

The Numbers Game? It's quite interesting.

Exactly two years since any posts here, huh. Well, I hope it's kosher to send it back up by announcing that I recently launched my One Piece fanfiction project, One Piece: Pure Corruption and am hoping to get some readers. It's kind of ambitious. It takes place before One Piece proper, in a different Blue, so it's (hopefully good) original characters all the way down. I'm trying to maintain the adventurous and humorous style of One Piece while still planning on defying some of the classic One Piece tropes, so we'll see how that goes.
