I'm not a fan of the new designs, even if they do look more cartoon-y, which to be brutally honest, is all I ask for as a plus - if everything else is up to snuff, I'll still give this show the chance it deserves. I mean, that s what I did for Uncle Grandpa - and so far, I'm really warming up to that show more than I ever expected to at all...

Love Pearl's redesign. So cute.

However she kinda reminds me of that jerk kid from the flashback episode of Sym-Bionic Titan.

All CN cartoons must now have:

• The main character singing tunes he improvises on the spot.
• Cute, marketable animal characters for toys.

The voices sound enjoyable. Also, I know i'm going to sound like a dick from the 1800's, but is Steven suppose to be so "brown", you forget he's white, or act so "Ambiguously Brown", you forget he's black?

Judging from the pictures I've seen, I'm sure he's supposed to be white or Hispanic. While I'm sure that he was created with some sort of ethnicity in mind, I doubt that it would come up in the show itself.

yeah, ethnicity becomes less of an issue in an animated series when a main character is purple.

And CN put up an official site. Where we got cast lists.

Also official premiere is November 4th.

Only 26 days away! At least this will distract any haters from Sonic Boom for now.

Wait, Joel Hodgson is a voice on the show? That's pretty awesome for a MST 3 K fan like me.

Oh God that's the THEME song??? Not very dark and kick-ass at all. And how come a lot of cartoons on TV always have to have a song per episode now??

I am warming up to the redesigned characters. The only redesign that still irks me is Pearl's. Too stiff, the most different from the pilot, and very robot looking.

I don't really like... any of them honestly.

...they just don't feel right to me, I guess? I dunno what my problem be with them but I just kind of dislike their designs, old and new.

I really wish Garnet had arm muscles....I think she did in her old design. Also Pearl is...yeah.

You mean they don't keep the banjo in the finished song??

And I don't know anything about this pilot. Did Garnet always look like a robot with an Impossible Hourglass Figure?
