The drawer thing feels metaphorical.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAccording to Michelle's twitter, we're getting another late update (9th Nov); can't blame her, given revelations here.
Whooof, been a while since I read this. Spend the evening binging the entire archive and catching up. Slow updates are still killing the story for me, but the art is still gorgeous.
So hey, seems like we're making some real progress hashing out the character dynamics, huh?
On one hand I'm expecting them to be unable to see the drawer thing. On the other, if anyone should be able to see it, it's them.
Wasn't someone already able to see it?
Also, I'm pretty sure Ava was able to see Maggie's, and so I assume it should work at least the other way around as well.
They're all hosts. Frankly, its flabbergasting that they've managed to remain oblivious to that this whole time.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireTime frame wise, the comic hasn't actually been going for so long
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhich is highly annoying.
I mean, it is. But that's the flipside of the beautiful presentation.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPlot! So close to a breakthough. I see those glasses in the second last panel. Are they going to be used?
Ava, dear, that's not how you convince people of anything.
Plot! Incoming!
Is Gil....changing? Now I want to see Odin change.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.Got a feeling Odin's already somewhat aware about his familiar, just not to the extent the others are. Definitely doesn't know that his own is likely Wrathia's ex-hubby.
Wow, Nevy looks awesome now.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name. The comic's going on hiatus until February 8th, because between it and real life stuff it was putting too much strain on Michelle. She'll still be streaming each week and posting periodic previews on the usual places, though.
Nevy reminds me of a leafy seadragon. Very classy.
Interesting to note that in SpiritVision(TM) Maggie just shows up as Tuls. Must be because she already made a Pact, unlike Odin/Gil.
I wonder how long it's going to take before Ava turns her head and realizes Odin has a demon as well?

Plot development!
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.Nevy's reaction towards regaining her memories only seems to reinforce how much of an utter dick Wrathia was to everyone around her. Heck, correct me if I'm mistaken, but do some of the flashback images imply that Wrathia's husband cheated on her with Nevy? Or better yet, does Wrathia herself even remember all of that?
EDIT: DO'H... forgot Wrathia's last name. :/

Bellarmina is Wrathia's last name. You're thinking of Nevy, who is continuing off from the last update going 'Wrathia... Bellarmina!', as she remembers her.
One thing to remember, though: Considering how Nevy is supposed to be associated with the sin of envy, there is a slight chance the memories we're seeing are... somewhat coloured by her perception.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. So there was an update back in March 8:
There is some serious bad blood between Nevy and Wrathia. Perhaps literally, in those last few pages
I'm still getting an Unreliable Narrator vibe from Nevy.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.
i mean, of course she's in denial, what ava's saying essentially puts her and maggie into the same category, which in this particular scene would be a problem for many reasons, one of them being that gil is literally right next to them and she only just convinced him she had no clue about anything to do with ava's actions.
