The little Espurr flailed its arms and was struck by the slash. It was brought down to low health.

The Espurr let out a Confusion at Eleanor.
The rest of the catmons looked on in wonder, save for the Purugly who was now circling over to Fuka.

Fuka saw the Purugly moving out of the corner of her eye, but forced herself to keep her eyes on equally important matters. Fuka was glad she hadn't used Lucy for this fight. That Confusion would've done a number on her Seviper. As it was, Elanor was holding on. Between the Rock-type's natural sturdiness and Confusion being one of the more basic Psychic attacks, it didn't Elanor hadn't taken a great deal of damage. That was good, but Fuka watched her Pokemon carefully for signs of what could be a big problem.
Oh no...
Just as she feared, L the left Binacle and the one that had taken he brunt of the attack, was swaying and looking around, as if unsure of her surroundings. Fuka couldn't see L's eyes from her position but she was willing to bet they were unfocused.
"Biii~ ayyyee~ aye-aye" the left Binacle sang.
This is not good...
Confusion was a nasty effect on any Pokemon, but with Binacle it created a unique issue. One of the Two-Handed Pokemon's strengths was how its two halves could work together to perform feats a more single-minded Pokemon might not be able to. Fuka had honed that coordination with many hours of training, an investment in protective gloves, and countless games of pattycake, but with one of the two confused that coordination went out the window and Elanor's effectiveness took a nosedive. Her only saving grace was that the right Binacle, R, didn't seem to have any issues. She sat straight on her rock, her claws pointed towards the Espurr.
Fuka knew she had to act quickly, before L's confusion had a chance to cause them all problems.
"R! Use Ancient Power!"
"Nacle!"
Heeding her Trainer's command, the right half of Binacle focused her power. From the stone she and her counterpart were attached to, pieces of stone broke off and floated into the air, shined with white light, and hurtled towards the Espurr.

When reading the battle mechanics, I couldn't find anything on the confusion status. Who determines whether that prevents an attack or not?

(It's up to the player whether or not the mon they're controlling can still get off an attack or if they end up hurting themselves in their confusion)

Fuka winced as the Espurr's attack washed over R. It didn't seem as powerful an attack as the Confusion had been, but these things added up. Fuka guessed Elanor might go down after one more attack like it. Two, if she got lucky.
Before Fuka could call out her next command, she watched as R recovered from the Disarming Voice. She swiveled in place and gave L a slap upside the head. L's claw shook for a moment, but then shot up straight and turned to face Espurr. Fuka sighed with relief. Elanor was back.
It was time to finish this.
"Elanor! Use Clamp!"
Both halves of the Binacle turned towards the Espurr before it. As one, the claws shot out and grabbed at Espurr with intent to hug it into submission.
Fuka hoped it would be enough.
For reference, so I don't fall into temptation to ignore confusion or things like it for convenience, I used a dice roller app I have for D&D to roll a d100 to determine if the confusion sticks and, if it does, use another d100 roll to determine if it prevents attack or not. Not entirely sure how best to work the numbers there. I went with d100 since things like the chance to flub an attack while confused was a percentage. Since it's the 2nd turn of Confusion out of 4, I made it 50/50 and rolled a 91.

Fuka gasped as another Disarming Voice crashed through Elanor. Her heart sank as L's body began to fall limp. It rose again as she saw R, ever reliable R, prove Fuka's point about Binacle's strength, attempted to keep the Clamp going. With her partner going down for the count, R adapted quickly and pushed Espurr into the pavement, hoping to keep the Clamp going that way.
It was Do or Die. If this wasn't enough, or if Espurr managed to slip out of the Clamp despite R's efforts, Fuka would lose.
The Purugly, now unnoticed even by the furiously focused Fuka, continued to make its way around the battle.
No idea why there's such a huge gap between the tag and the header.

Fuka held her breath. Psyshock looked like a psychic attack, but she knew it actually attacked the target physically. If there was any attack Espurr could have used that a Rock-type Eleanor might actually be able to withstand, Psyshock was it.
Unfortunately, Psyshock was also a very powerful attack, and Eleanor had already taken three solid hits. Fuka watched with dismay as Eleanor went limp, R joining L and fainting.
"You win." Fuka sighed as she held up Eleanor's Poke Ball.
"Come back, Eleanor." The Poke Ball caught the Binacle in an orange beam. "You did great. We'll get you fixed up right away."
Fuka kissed the Poke Ball before reattaching it to her belt. She then reached into her satchel and pulled out the bag of treats from earlier.
"Your Espurr was amazing. Here's a little something for it. I was going to give some whatever Pokemon I found anyway," Fuka said. "So you can have it."
Fuka tossed the bag over to the old woman, then turned to leave.

I had a feeling that might be the case. That's partly why I didn't have her actually do anything. Unless you mean the Purugly? Either way, I did have an idea for what Fuka might do with the Purugly. How do I go about suggesting/discussing it?

As for the idea I had, assuming it didn't conflict with whatever you and/or PhilosopherStones had in mind, I was imagining Fuka giving the Purugly an Elmyra-level hug so tight the Purugly was able to get its two-tails wrapped around its belly, like Purugly do, possibly for the first time in a while.

Fuka turned back around, eyes lit bright, as this side trip immediately became worthwhile. She restrained her excitement just enough to avoid startling the pudgy Purugly. Fuka picked it up without any resistance. She let out an "oof" as she picked up the hefty feline and proceeded to hug it as tightly as she could.
She only had permission for one hug, she was going to make it count.
"You're such a cute Purpretty!" she said.
A full minute later, Fuka was satisfied and set the Pokemon back on the ground. As she watched it move away, Fuka tilted her head. Something was different, but she couldn't quite place what it was.

~Malfar Okay so now getting back to you, I gotta be honest about why this took so long: Some people in this RP know you from some other R Ps and they have concerns. We can't really bar you from this RP over those concerns, but you need to read the rules very carefully and be open to communication. Also you apparently can only post from a 3DS? That might make things a bit tricky if you can't access one of the chatrooms.
As for your actual signup:
1. Can you elaborate on your characters' parents' organizational ties? Surprises this early on aren't recommended.
2. There's something weird going on with your Torchic, it's name is reffered to differently in Kirila's bio compared to its own, is that intentional?

1. Daniel's foster father was a former Grunt of Team Magma, while his foster mother was a Grunt of Team Aqua. They left the organisations to in order to be together. I haven't got the exact specifics down yet.
2. I forgot to switch the name from Brynn's bio from Helena( Torchic's beta name) to Hilda. To be honest you confused me, since Sabre's (The Kirlia) bio doesn't mention Hilda at all.

I'm hoping I understood the chaining battle mechanics correctly here.
Also, not sure if it's applicable to any RP's she might join, but since we're on trainer names like Crazy Cat Lady, the one I imagine for Fuka is "Monster Princess".

I just wanted to see some kitties...
Fuka took in the sight before her. The old woman, the Pokemon she had immediately sent out, and a small pride of cat Pokemon watching her. Reason was not going to work here, and any sign of weakness would probably result in a lot of pouncing. Even a Purugly in the back of the group—Oh, hey, there was one after all!—looked ready to strike.
He's so fluffy and squishy! Fuka thought, then mentally shook herself. Fight now, fluff later.
Since turning back wasn't an option, and the old woman was all set to battle, there was only one thing to do. Fuka didn't mind, she'd come into this alley prepared to fight a Meowstic, after all. She reached to her belt, locked eyes with her opponent, and threw the ball.
"Go, Eleanor!" she cried.
As she did, a Pokemon formed from the light of the opening Poke Ball. It took the shape of a pair of small arms attached to a rock. Eleanor the Binacle wasn't usually Fuka's first choice in battle. However the alley was too small for Gyari, the types worked against Lucy, and Fuka thought it best to keep Goosey back in case things got dicey.
As the Binacle landed on the ground, she managed a flip that made her land on her hands. The arms been, straightened, and propelled the rock they were attached to at the Espurr.
"R!" Fuka yelled as all this was happening, "help L use Hone Claws! L, use Slash on the Espurr!"
In the second stage of their flight, the Binacle arm on the right rubbed her counterpart's claws against their mutual stone. As soon as it landed, the left Binacle twirled in place and lashed out at the enemy Espurr.
Fuka called out to the old woman.
"If I win, I get to hang out and help feed everyone!"
