I mean, we all know Saitama would catch him in the actual series.
Although Flashy-Flash has proved it is possible to stay ahead of him with good reflexes and skills, even though won't last.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean remember he failed to kill a mosquito.
But yeah I own One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. I do not recommend it.
It's funny, the core 3v3 brawling is at least relatively decent. Nothing to write home about, but you can at least have some goofy fun with your friends as you wail on eachother with your favorite characters.
But guess what? It's a 3v3 game where you don't even start off with 6 characters.
To unlock people you gotta play the story mode. And it starts off promising, you get to create your own character and everything. Few outfit options are given to you right off the bat, but it promises you you can unlock more parts as you play. But almost all those parts come from the canon characters. And all the monsters and heroes you meet are made in the character creator. So you constantly have to fight against and alongside ugly chimeric hodgepodges of various named characters.
I've seen four separate monsters that wear poor Stinger's bandage outfit. That's about half of them. The rest are all essentially just Vaccine Man recolors.
And then writing itself does nothing but offer milquetoast heroic platitudes we've seen in the sort of series that OPM is supposed to be parodying. It completely lacks the comedic and cynical edges that make OPM popular.
The devs certainly seemed to like Mumen Rider, that's for sure.
I hope I get to KO Lecture Man.
Anyways I'm gonna go play it some more.

Bleye knows Sabers. The latest manga chapter came out today.
Orochi is very not dead and Tatsumaki is not having the greatest of time.
We do get some flashback from her which webcomic fan will recognize. :D
Also, King is being the MVP once again.
I wouldn't be surprised if the base flip happens next chapter.
Things are about to get crazy. I can't wait to see King show his stuff. :D
...Murata, take some time off work and spend it with your wife.
Yeah. That was very improper.
I was surprised that Psychos actually seemed to be overpowering Tatsumaki until I remembered she was holding back to avoid hurting the kid.
One Strip! One Strip!I approve
And I also approve of Giant Naked Psychos◊

Watch SymphogearYeah, we all approve of that.
One Strip! One Strip!Fixed, with an extra Burger.
Watch SymphogearMan this is a lot of strength of character for Tatsumaki.
About to be killed but she still won’t go all out out of consideration that she’d hurt the kid & actually praised King for being reliable when he informed her of the kids safety.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That little monster dude is lucky both Saitama and Flash has taken a liking to him, or at least care enough to keep him alive.
Latest chapter is finally out.
Surprisingly, lot of feelings and humanity was added in the Garou vs Darkshine fight.
Also, the base flip is technically starting. XD
I like that Garou, for a brief moment, saw both himself and the kid in Darkshine. I said before that he'd just kinda become like the bullies he so hated, and in that moment, even he was forced to notice it.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!You are an adult.

So I've been playing A Hero Nobody Knows and I've been really liking it. And that's weird?
Like. Here's the thing. I've played a lot of Dragon Ball create-a-character games. And I've always disliked them. The whole concept has always rubbed me the wrong way. But the one that really stands out to me is Xenoverse, since it too is a multiplayer online experience. I've never really been able to put my finger on it before, but something about making a Dragon Ball Fanfic OC and beating the shit out of Majin Buu and Beerus just felt off.
But I'm super getting into the idea for this game. And I think it's finally clicked for me as to why.
Dragon Ball, as a story, is very individual-focused. It is, 100%, the story of Son Goku and the various colorful characters he meets and ultimately overcomes as a fighter. Goku is the center of the entire universe, and everyone and everything exists to facilitate Goku's journey. As he grows, each escalating step of that journey is impactful and meaningful in its own way.
When you have 85 million fighters running around who are all Beerus-tier warriors, the whole concept of "Beerus-tier" loses all value. If anyone and their dog can beat up Majin Buu, then who the f*ck cares about beating up Majin Buu?
It's a form of ludonarrative dissonance in big picture terms, I suppose. Dragon Ball is the story of Goku's journey. But if there's millions of Gokus all running around the universe, then why are we so invested in Goku?
One-Punch Man, meanwhile, has a very different setup. The Hero Organization is perfectly suited to a Fanfic OC create-a-character. It's written into the premise that there are hundreds of heroes all running around the setting doing hero things, so it's easy for the game to go, "Make a character and BOOM, you're one of those heroes." It feels natural to just sit down and play as Some Hero Who Isn't Saitama, because that's basically the entire cast as it is.
I don't know. It just feels more natural to me. I recognize that games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse are better than A Hero Nobody Knows from a technical game design perspective. But I like AHNK more.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Basically a making a OC feels incongruous with the setting of DB but not the setting of OPM.
Even though i know.

Apparently Joseph Joestar can beat Saitama. Sort of.
