Next chapter of Murata's redraw is out although I don't think it's translated yet. Zombie Man really kicks a lot of ass.
I love the pacing of this chapter. It manages to perfectly encapsulate Zombie Man's badassery, while managing to maintain a brisk pace the entire chapter. I certainly liked it more than CE vs PM.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Zombieman is basically Blade. Nice.
Watch SymphogearSometimes battle goes not to the swift, nor the strong, but the most enduring.

Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise. The rest of the time, it goes to Saitama.
Edit: Read the chapter. Zombieman is pretty baller.

One Strip! One Strip! It's a shame that "You're Locked In Here With Me" isn't a trope.
Zombieman is too badass. This was a relatively short chapter but sweet and to the point with great action and the first actual reveal of Zombieman's fighting style and ability. Very nice.
A short, brutal and to-the-point fight was a nice change of pace from the last two S-Class fights. Zombieman's a badass, though he did get a good matchup.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.~Zombieman! Zombieman!~
~Can't be killed! He's a zombie man!~
~If he's stabbed, he won't die!~
~And his foes, just scream WHY?!~
~Because! You can kill Zombiemaaaaaaan! wah! wah! WAAAAAH!~
Well, that was kinda dumb. But I Regret Nothing.
One Strip! One Strip! This was about what I was expecting of the remaining Demon-level fights.
It's interesting that the writer in one interview mentioned that Zombieman can die if he's reduced to mincemeat. Even his regeneration can't heal from that.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI wonder if Zombieman can still feel pain. Even a positive answer to even that simple question may vary, depending on if his nerve endings are actually numb or if he's just so used to pain that he barely feels it.
I think he still can feel pain if he is still capable of feeling anything. He presumably can still feel the effects of nicotine since he indulges a smoking habit.
It's also interesting that the scar on his chest remains even after his bouts of regeneration. It's probably from whatever operation Genus did on him to make him a zombie.
Disgusted, but not surprisedDo we know if he's actually a zombie? Like, did Genus take a corpse and bring it back to life?
It's possible Genus actually killed him as part of the process. Which might provide another reason Zombieman was so relentless in hunting him down.
That said, he's probably not an actual undead being. Remember that the project's goal was to create immortals. So Genus presumably kidnapped a bunch of people and did unspeakable experiments to try and make them immortal, with Zombieman being the only survivor.

Disgusted, but not surprisedAnother chapter is up, with Sweet Mask about to challenge S-do.
He's still kinda being a jerk, but he may have a point that the other three will get in the way.
One Strip! One Strip! That's pretty much Sweet Mask's thing. He's a total ass, but he usually has a point.
Disgusted, but not surprisedMy money's on him slaughtering the entire lot, the mind-controlled humans included.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets....oh yeah. That sounds about right.
Guess we'll see soon enough if he's that ruthless or not.
One Strip! One Strip!Chapter 103:
Yep, called it.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSweet Mask does not hold back at all.
Art in this chapter is great. Murata also redrew the previous chapter (102) to improve the art and fighting choreography.
Sweet Mask is the one character I can see turning antagonistic in the future. He is downright twisted.
Finally saw this chapter.
Yeah, there's no shocks about Sweet Mask's actions here.
One Strip! One Strip! The redraw was also nice. Iai-ian continues to be one of my favorite secondary characters.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.
Possibly.
He would have still likely been insta-gibbed by Saitama, and I'm sure Tatsumaki could have just ripped the costume off him before he became too dangerous, but beyond that, he's for real.
One Strip! One Strip!
