Etika is an african american youtuber, mostly known for his reactions. Or more accurately, overreactions.

He has had a few incidents in the past. Getting demonetized in his youtube channel, uploading porn in his YT account to get it banned, making vague tweets about killing himself, getting banned on twitter because of his use of the N word (granted, this one was a bit silly) and other stuff.

Same here. I've seen videos about his Super Smash Bros. reactions pop up every now and then, but I myself am not very familiar with him or any controversy surrounding him.

Reaction videos... reminds me of another african american youtuber, Tyrone Magnus. He's much more composed but some of his videos I watched have that anti-sjw bent somewhat. Alt-lite?

Oh yeah, anyone remember Maximilianmus? That one troll that has J.C. Denton for his pfp and inspired legions of his fans to do the same? I remember when those pfps plagued youtube from October to at least January. Good riddance. His channel has less activity now that almost everyone who plays Fortnite knows who he is.

This isn't the say he shouldn't be arrested too. I have seen a few nasty black anti-SJ Ws/anti-feminist types on the alt-rights side that are useful idiots that the alt-right points just to say Hey we have no problem blacks! See we aren't racist

It just annoys me as I can think of quite a few white youtubers, Sargon definetly being one of them (please have him get arrested for child porn, the alt-right snowflake tears would be glorious), that I think deserve this punishment too.

Not saying people like Sargon don't deserve jailtime, but in this case Etika's had a history with both his fanbase and his close friends for going off the deep end like this- the anti-semitism is new but he's made (self-decidedly not) suicide threats before while rambling about "the next life" or various things pertaining to either being or seeing God.

In this case they escorted Etika out without much hassle and loaded him into an ambulance. People have been saying he really needs professional help for a few months now and I'm guessing this is the case that pushed people into making sure he actually gets some.

I am not saying he didn't deserve jail time (or an mental asylum?). I don't know the guy very well as this is the first time I have ever heard of him and I have seen black youtubers like him before that were very racist, very much anti-SJW, and very much on the side of the alt-right. They aren't very common but they are there and noticeable.

I am more trying to why did this guy get arrested and not the others. There is plenty of other alt-righters whom have said similar nasty things.

I hope this guy can get the help he needs though as it sounds like something isn't right upstairs judging by your description of him.

TBH, I always feel uncomfortable whenever I stumble across such vids. Even though I know those vids are there because the people posting them want people to watch them, it still feels a tad...voyeuristic?
