*snerk* Not a bad idea...I was thinking something involving the asterisk would be appropriate. I will hopefully have some free time to devote to this this week.

Alright, I've sent several people the new hottip badge. I'll keep this open through the end of the week to make sure that everyone that participated gets a badge and that people actually receive them, and then I think we can finally put this to bed.

I think you forgot to send one to yourself; also, whatever thing has been messing around with the avatar contest badges has been messing with this one, too.

Incidentally, it depends upon the URL - the URL with the "static.tvtropes.org" has the problem, the one with "tvtropes.org" only (without the static) displays correctly.

So how exactly do you know if someone actually did clean up the markup? Considering this is the internet, ANYBODY can say he or she did some cleanup despite not doing any . . .

Speaking of which, I said I thought I did do a page worth of hottip cleanup, I really can't remember . . . but than again, I did change a notification that used the hottip marking (NOTE

) to the correct note marking (^note example) talking about "simonize"
