It didn't. "After Sex" was closed very fast. We could make webpages of -almost- anything at the time.

The new version, "With Onions" was considered okay, since it wasn't related to sex.

Ah. I'm... honestly not sure how we survived so long to do... half of the plots I had launched in it, let alone all of them. I'm...

I can't deny it, there's stuff I really enjoyed in the RP(some of it was hilarious, some of it was cool and action-filled and stuff). There's other stuff in it I... just feel ashamed to have been in.

It's a weird thing, that's to be sure, and that's kind of why I'm not sure how I really feel about the RP itself.

Wait, all the stuff we are talking here were of the After Sex thread only? This thread got locked in less than 10 days and lasted "only" 203 pages pages*

. The Snuggling with Onions is still going since December 2010 and it is almost 7000 pages now.

If all the problematic content is from the previous thread, than we should be able to clean and rename the page, to reflect the current thread only.

I never participated in the original. I'm discussing the second thread, which is the one I participated in. The works page is for both threads.

Ah. Well, yes, we're referring to the stuff from the first thread being a problem.

Is there an issue with the second thread? And that's why I suggested that we could remove everything from the first thread(After Sex) and only keep the second thread(With Onions) on the page. There's only two threads, correct?

It's kind of a shame, without the problematic content I'd have nothing but fond memories of the thread and the works page would be a monument to weird silliness and surprisingly serious and developed plots. As it stands, there's problematic content.

Can you cite examples, please? Even if it means the roleplay needs to be shut down, (and hey, another one can be made), the content is just not allowed.

Any players from the first game that you could PM to come here, Anno or anyone?

I could... try and find examples, I suppose. It's sort of uncomfortable for me to delve into the parts of the thread that it would require, though, given that they're the parts I decidedly don't remember fondly. Also, given how big the thread is I'd probably have some difficulty finding them.

Um... not that I know of, no. The few I know are still around staunchly refuse to participate in this entire section of the forums.

When you think about it, it would actually be comparatively easy to see whether this is pedo-pandering; just ask the participants whether that was their goal (to any degree).

Then again though, many participants would likely be long-gone by now... Hrm. Maybe not so easy. But it works in theory, right?

Unless you guys want to talk about what to do with its "sequel," we're pretty much done here.

Is the Onions sequel safe? If so then to you move the page to that name and take out stuff on the original one. If not, then you cut it and should keep an eye on the role-playing being done here.

Uh, if the sequel is safe (which is not totally clear right now), than the page shouldn't be cut. The page it is as much about the sequel as it is of the original thread. If it is not more about the sequel. The second thread is over 20 times longer, after all. If the sequel is deemed safe, than the page should just be cleaned and renamed.

Yeah, just remove any mentions to the inappropriate stuff. Lots of roleplay threads have their own page, when they get big enough.

On a related side note, this definitely needs to be cut too. For those who don't want to click the link, it's a troper page created for one of the more problematic (read:Kodomo No Jikan character) sockpuppets involved with the early stages of the RP.

In my opinion we should not have works pages for any of our forum R Ps. They are of absolutely no interest except to the participants, no matter how innocent, and is frightfully self-absorbed of us besides.
