So here is my second Master and my first Servant the ever-so-lucky Cu Chulainn. I feel like I should have more to add for Cu but I don't think I'm missing anything, let's hear it for baseless paranoia. (I hate that everything has to have a space between it or it all gets put on the same line...I feel like I'm missing the reason why the forum does that)

Name: Valeria Morris

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Description: Quite classy no?

Personality: Valeria is a hot-blooded woman who just can't stand being passive. She feels the need to start something if nothing is going on and boredom ill suits her. She much prefers a moderate challenge to a beat down regardless of if she is doing the beating or getting beaten and as a result tries to pick her fights wisely. Valeria is able to be entirely calm when she behind the heat of a forge and crafting some object as the purity of the task and the habit forces her into a state of almost meditative style calm. She is patient enough in combat to read her foe but she usually does through testing them with offense rather than being defensive.

Abilities: Valeria is a magus gifted with vast prana but is very limited in her magecraft. She is incapable of any magic, excluding utilizing her Mystic Code and her element, besides Reinforcement. Her element is Metal and therefore she can manipulate most non-magical metallic objects shape though the prana cost of doing so greatly increases as the size of the object to be changed does. These objects cannot be in contact with another magus and/or Servant or their prana will negate the metal shaping passively.

She, like her family before her, are all wielders of the Conceptual Weapon known as Former Glory. This Mystic Code/Conceptual Weapon manifests as a simple brown glove with the Morris family crest, a crossed sword and hammer, on the back of the hand. This glove is typically worn on Valeria’s left hand as she is left-handed herself. Upon saying "We fought in days long gone by/Given the chance for our own story/In the end we only died/Yet still hold our former glory" the Conceptual Weapon manifests as an English style long sword. This weapon's hilt is made of silver and seems to radiate a faint glow.

The weapon's focus is defeating other magi as it can cut through most modern magecraft of an intermediate level thus allowing the Morris family to fight using their superior martial skill rather than potent magecraft. On Servant's or spells cast by Servants the blade is no more than a sword with abnormal resilience to destruction. This ability to cut magic only works on attacks that can be seen and are not area of effect (So Valeria could cut a fireball and negate it but an flamethrower type effect would work as intended). The prana drain of this weapon is vast if it is actively countering magecraft and as such can only be used for about ten seconds while Valeria's Servant is active without causing her to faint from exhaustion. If her Servant is merely standing by then she can act for fifteen seconds before succumbing to exhaustion.

Bio: Valeria was born to a long line of magi who all specialized in metalworking and were renowned swordsmen and women. As a result of this heritage Valeria was trained from her youth to know and understand metals and their various uses as well as using reinforcement to amplify both the weapon she chose and her own body. She also learned, as all heirs did, of the Conceptual Weapon that was her families pride and joy, Former Glory.

The sword had been in the family for generations and was the source of most of the families respect. Unfortunately it was also the downfall of her family when a jealous rival family attempted to steal the weapon. Valeria was only just fourteen at the time and was away from home when her home was ransacked and her parents killed. She took to living on her own then, as she had no other relatives, and eventually retook her ancestral weapon from the thieves when she turned eighteen. She has just received her command seals, located on her right hand, recently and hopes to meet one of the great warriors of days gone by.

Assets: Valeria has her inheritance from her parents which includes a home in Redrock Town, enough money to live comfortably, and a surprisingly steady job as a smith.

Lancer also has a tendency to hit on cute women though how successful he is at it is debatable. Lancer is also a man of his word just like he was in his legend.

Let me refute KSPAM. Attempting to make Ali use Zulfiquar at full power uses 2 command seals, first to undo the girdle and second to actually make him swing the WMD; but if you really don't want the mountain-eating thing, I'll agree to make it swallow up an entire city block if used at full power instead. Secondly, his riding skill stems from the fact that he is an Arabian; famed throughout the ages for their horsemanship thus giving him a high rank if only for his heritage. And Aegis of faith is simply an alternate name for Protection of the Faith.

You finished? Well then, allow me to retort.

Firstly, the primary concern isn't how much it would take to make it happen, it's that it could happen at all is what worries us. Plus, it's so ridiculously over the top it's using Ea as a measuring stick.

As for your proposed nerf, I didn't think you'd take me seriously when I made that remark about a city block. Even then, that really should be a limit, not a suggestion. Let's look at our most powerful contenders so far. Saber, wielding Excalibur, can probably destroy a skyscraper if she wanted to. Enkidu could probably level a smaller one with brute force if he so chose. You are proposing someone who can sinkhole an entire city block in one go.

Secondly, there are no feats attributed specifically to him which qualify him for that rank of Riding. Just because someone's people were good at it does not mean they were, and they only deserve the elevated rank if they themselves were good enough to merit it.

Thirdly, you really should just call it Protection of the Faith.

Appearance: I can shoot the fly off a donkey's tail and whip my weight in wildcats.

Personality: Crockett is the free spirit. His only wish it to reach a land that will let him hunt, fish and explore for the rest of time. The Holy Grail War is simply a contest for him. A life as a heroic spirit is just as fun as anything. Despite his easy going appearance, when Crockett says he will do something, he'll do it. He is not known to lie.

• Bear Hunter, the tracker of all that moves (A): Crockett's hunting and trapping skills are masterful. So long as there is but a single way to track a foe, he can. When on the defensive, he can alter his own tracks to lead opponents astray, or even into ambushes of his own.

Noble Phantasms:

• Old Betsy, the rifle that never missed (Rank B): Crockett carried this rifle with him when he left the United States to travel to Texas. He boasted that he could shoot a mile with hurricane wind and still hit his mark. When Crockett sets his sights on an enemy and fires an aimed shot, his bullet will not miss. Unlike the Gae Bolg, which alters reality so that the only result can be a hit, balls from Old Betsy will simply travel through the air towards the target, changing direction until it hits. Crockett has limited control over the rounds, but can influence how much damage they cause along the way. Unfortunately, Old Betsy takes almost a minute to reload, but in the meantime can be used as a Rank C melee weapon.

• Not One Step Back, This hallowed ground will be stained one way or another (Rank A): This Noble Phantasm can only be activated when the sun is down and can only be deactivated by one of three ways. 1. Crockett is killed. 2. The enemy is killed. 3. A command spell is used to deactivate the Phantasm. When activated, Crockett declares that he will not take a single step back. From then on, he must remain in the area, but gets a rank boost to his strength and endurance. Old Betsy's close combat function is also raised one rank.

No, you can use a gun wielding Heroic Spirit. Francis Drake is an example of that.

Yeah, I suspect it's a load of half-baked bull the Wiki holds onto because the fans fucking love Saber and can't understand how a gunfight can be interesting, or how Timo Hayha—The Other Teemo is named after him—or Doc Holiday deserve to be a Heroic Spirit.

The former was born too late and the latter can be a Heroic Spirit, just a terribly young one.

So is Crockett confirmed?

@Augustine: I'm afraid what we have here is another unfortunate case of a hero born too soon. I have no problems with his N Ps, and only one problem with his skills (I will address that shortly), but his stats are way too inflated for someone so young. As I said earlier, newer Heroic Spirits tend to be, in all but the most exceptional cases, weaker stats wise than their older kin. Sometimes weaker by a little, sometimes by a lot. It depends. But we would like you to nerf his stats in this case.

Also, returning to his skills, I really don't see a justification for Eye of the Mind (True). You should probably either remove that, replace it with Eye of the Mind (False) (which would make more sense for Davy Crockett), or explain to me why you think it's justified. Work on these minor issues and he should be accepted.

@Aura: Sorry, but we can't really allow either of those. The Master because anti-magic is usually a no-no in most R Ps, and Cu Chulainn because, well... we don't want two Gae Bolgs running around. I think you understand why. If the two owners teamed up (which they probably would, given their past history), the resulting alliance would be borderlining on unstoppable. Plus, we're not exactly sure if two instances of the same Noble Phantasm are even allowed to exist in the same time period (barring the Gate of Babylon, which holds the prototypes of all Noble Phantasms, weapons which would eventually become said N Ps, but are recognized by the world as separate existences).

EDIT: Nevermind, the Master is accepted. What I said about Cu Chulainn still stands though. Sorry.

After rereading the definitions of the Eye of the Mind Skills, I agree that False is actually closer to his real skills.

As for the stats, I'd like to keep Luck at A, but I'm willing to reduce everything else to D D C and E respectively.

But the truth is that this was the role forced on her, as the soul punished and forced to represent the concept of the Black Knight as a Heroic Spirit after death. A black knight is a foil, a shadow to the white standing in the light of the sun. Therefore she has to be evil because that is her job. She is a villain, something to be hated and feared. But without her, the plot can't move forward. A hero can't be a hero without a villain. So she was forced to play this role, simply because someone had to. As a result, she's become bitter, and confused as to how much her role mixes into her personality. In short, she's the villain you love to hate. The bad guy you welcome because you know you need them.

  • Merodach: The Original Sin (Anti-Unit/Anti-Fortress): The originating sword that eventually led to the legends of both Gram and later Caliburn. A sword bestowed upon Saber to fulfill her role as the villain of many stories. It exists as a foil to the holy swords wielded by heroes and kings of old, and as such possesses many of their attributes. The black sun to the white sun of the swords of light (like Excalibur), Merodach functions similarly, gathering prana in the form of black light at the tip of the blade, and firing it off once the blade is swung. Additionally, the gathered prana can be kept in the blade, raising the blade's physical power equivalent to a Rank Up in STR.

Upon saying the name of the blade, it coats itself in the same fire used to trick the large fish. Quan reels the blade backward and swings it downward. The fire takes the shape of a dragon and crashes down upon the target in a large explosion.
  • ma thuật tù, Prison of Hồ Tinh (Rank C — Anti-Personal): The prison of both wind and thunder that entrapped the nine-tailed fox demon. The beast is said to have lasted three-days on its own inside. Afterward it escaped but Quan found and beheaded the beast to find out its true form. This Noble Phantasm is a spherical prison of wind that has violent surges of lightning dancing around the outside. However, since Quan is now a Servant, the maximum time this Noble Phantasm can remain active is two to three minutes.
