Remind me when, in-universe, when Norman Osborn went from "I don't like Spidey because he keeps stepping in my way" to "I'm so obsessed with making this guy pay I'm going to make elaborate plans to take him down". It's Lex Luthor type Evil Is Petty

New Marvel books!

Dark Agnes by Becky Cloonan and Luca Pizzari. Presumably spinning out of Conan: Serpent War, since Dark Agnes is a character in that. Which is neat, because Dark Agnes isn't really a very popular Robert E. Howard character. I presume they are using her because they don't have the rights to Red Sonja.

Marvel Anthology by Alex Ross. Ross is apparently "curating" it and doing the covers. The framing device will be done by Steve Darnell, while the second issue is by Dan Brereton and set just after Giant-Sized X-Men #1.

Ant-Man: World Hive by Zeb Wells and Dylan Burnett.

[up][up][up]Probably around the time he found out about Harry’s drug problem and blamed Peter for letting it happen/driving Harry to it.

The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]

So can anyone point to any examples of Natasha displaying feats of superhuman strength, speed and durability? I keep seeing how she is supposed to be superhuman in physicals but nothing I've seen of her shows that. I'm currently reading the Richard K. Morgan series where she complains about how her gauntlets were too heavy for her so she decided to never use them again (also how long did that last real time?).

[up]Yeah, the only real superpower Nat has is slowed aging, and that was just to keep an old Cap/Logan story canon. Other than that, she's a Bad Ass Normal extraordinare.

[up]Which Cap/Logan story was that?

[up]It was during Claremont's X-Men run. Basically Hydra kidnapped a young Natalia back in the 40's for reasons, and Cap and Logan teamed up to save her.

I'll be honest, I wasn't really a huge fan of this issue of Immortal Hulk because it didn't have much going on beyond "Hulk Bad. All Doomed."

Also, the gender of the narrative-focused character was "hir" which... gave me Doug Winger flashbacks and made it a little hard to take things seriously.

It had lot going on actually and it clearly affects the present day. So it wasn't all "Hulk Bad, all Doom", that's a gross oversimplification.

And it seems nitpicky to complain that an alien creature from a different cosmos is using different pronouns than humans.

The issue itself clearly illustrated how the humans body is completely incomprehensible to them.

So complaining about the use of "hir" is silly. I wouldn't expect an amoeba like creature to have the same pronouns as humanoids, who do seem to exist in the 9th Cosmos.

No, it's not that the pronouns are different, it's that specific pronoun has a connotation, to me, with something silly. That's all it is.

And maybe I need to reread it, but there really didn't seem to be a lot else going on. Everything was bad, everything was broken, Hulk was killing everything in the universe and nothing could stop him. It ends with hopelessness and death and nothing mattered.

Everything's bad. Gets worse. And, if anything, it ensured that everything would still be bad by the fact that the future wasn't changed. All that happened was the creation of a stable time loop.

[up] Of course the future wasn't changed. It's one single issue in a larger ongoing story. If it's going to be changed, it's not going to be until later on.

If we're going by the internal logic of the MU, isn't every future just one of the many potential timelines?

My mistake then.

Everything was bad, everything was broken, Hulk was killing everything in the universe and nothing could stop him.

Technically, it's the One Below All.

I read Immortal Hulk #25. It was amazing and horrifying.

There is hope at the end, however: the thing that goes backwards in time and is found by the Leader will probably end up in the hands of the Hulk.

Preview of Immortal Hulk #26. So this makes two worldwide broadcasts about the human race in the past year. I wonder if we might ever see an Immortal Hulk/X-Men crossover now. That would be neat.
