I like Hal in TAS. At least there he has an actual personality. In the comics he's about as interesting as wet cardboard.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundAnd yeah, we need to see more Namorita. And Richard Rider (especially now that Sam Alexander is no longer a Nova). And Speedball. And Night Thrasher. Can we get a New Warriors reunion?
but that's the thing it happened concurently. im hard pressed to think of short arcs/minis that look at a future and the future isnt total shit. also spider girl and renew your vows universe are not 616 so they escape the bad futures of the horrors of far far far off 2020, with its nuked wasteland, or even farther off 2099
Its a future in that it is a future of spider-man just set in the same year but the stuff that happens happening happened to Peter still happened so De Falco could throw shade, just earlier.
The second worse Clone Saga, Gathering of Five, some other things. They happened. And years later, Mayday is Spider-Girl.
Aside from the year, it may as well be the Good Future of the Spider-Man books. You could assume that had Mayday come back instead of Aunt May as a non-actress, the Spider-Girl stuff could have eventually played out. In like... two hundred years publishing time because of that floating timescale.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI love Jessica Cruz for a similar reason. Although I admit my enjoyment of her has kinda soured for personal reasons...
My various fanfics.Renew your vows is a pretty good future too, besides the whole period of time where whats his face imprisoned all the heroes. I mean peter isn't missing a leg or anything
Welp. Those X-Men issues are turning out be a disappointment wonder how the new Fantastic Four comic is doi-
Doom and Galactus are literally back to their old selves with no character development.
...
Goddamn it!
Mileena MadnessThis is why I only read Moon Girl.
Well that's a lie I also read Nick Spencer's Spider-Man but I'm sure everything good about that series gets trashed eventually too.

Such is the disappointing nature of comics
Forever liveblogging the Avengers'Permanent lasting change that has meaning and value? What's that?'

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundGalactus was already reverted back to his purple Planet Eater status as of Infinity Countdown.
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is still amazing.
You know, the stuff that isn't character regression...
Mileena MadnessAt least Jessica Jones is still amazing. Kara Killgrave cameo! Jessica almost drowns her! But Kara's a nice person, so she forgives Jessica and still tries to help, because she understands just how thoroughly her father fucks up people's lives.
Also, the new Black Widow series is off to a great start. She goes to Madripoor, where she puts on a white suit and an eyepatch, and I'm convinced she's doing it solely to troll Logan. "What, I thought that was just the fashion in Madripoor. I mean, you didn't think I'd be dumb enough to think an eyepatch was actually an effective disguise, right?" Also, looks like this comic is going to get dark. As in, "Nat's targets are child molesters." That's fucked-up even for a story set in Madripoor. But I am definitely down with a super-fucked-up Black Widow story where she murders her way through Madripoor with Tyger Tiger.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I missed something with Jessica Jones. Is Danielle Cage now a Purple Man rape baby?
My various fanfics.Doubtful. The story is presenting it as a possibility. My guess, though, is that her colour is related to a run-in with the Purple Children. I don't think Thompson is going to make Dani Killgrave's daughter.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Okay, good. Because I really like Dani Cage, Captain America.
And also, just, ew. Obviously.
My various fanfics.Man poor Luke if it was true.
Having to find out the girl you thought was your own kid was another persons.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'd be more worried if it was, say, Mark Millar rather than Kelly Thompson.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Also, according to Alias, the Purple Man never actually had sex with Jessica.
Steve Rogers in Black Widow #1: "We don't kill, Nat."
Seriously, Marvel? We're doing this again? Despite the fact that with Steve's history, he'd be the last person to spout this nonsense?

To be fair, Captain America opposing killing is a very consistent trait. He's long been on Team Anti-Killing. Particularly for superheroes, he thinks they need to be better than that. In a life-or-death, absolutely-no-other-choice situation? He'll accept it, grudgingly. But when an opponent can be subdued without killing them, he will absolutely stand against killing them.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.So he's against executions then.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Spider-Girl was kind of a good future. I mean it’s technically concurrent but it’s basically a future
