I know I've been pushing this before, but; Stratofarius just PM'd me, and he's going to be making his character Anti-Registration. So, I'm heavily advising future participants to choose Pro-Registration, for the time being. I'd like both sides to be fairly even, in terms of number of participants.

So like I said, I can probably rework my hero to be pro-reg. The only reason I chose anti-reg was because he was never supposed to be out-of-costume, so I didn't even make a normal identity for him. I guess that means I don't even know who he used to, since he's always dressed. If it could just be assumed that he said "no biggie", and told the government who used to be, could his alter-ego just exist as a sort of Noodle Incident? If that's the case, then nothing from the signup would have to change, save for taking out the word "not".

Thanks; much better. And because of that, there isn't as much need for future players to be pro-reg. Just a word though, to future players; please look at who's signed up and on what side before making a character, and try to keep both sides fairly even.

...And on that note, there's enough players on each side that we can seriously start thinking of starting this up, though the floor will be perfectly welcome to new players, both before we begin, and after as well. Now, if anyone has problems with the following date, tell me, but I'd like to start this on Tuesday the 8th. It lets us start fairly soon, but also gives us a bit of time to prepare, and for players still working on their characters to finish them up. Any objections?

• Name: Jack H. Mandersala AKA Lucunditas
• Side: Anti-Registration
• Physical Appearance: After the "curse", he pretty much looks like this all the time.◊ His "superhero costume" is that jacket zipped up, and a golden mask.
• Personality: Jack was what some would define as a "son of a bitch" as he will do anything to get what he wants. He's also greedy, wrathful (he will kill anyone that dares to cross him), lustful, prideful and extremely cynic. However, he has something that people consider "his only good side"- he will always protect the rare people that he calls his friends, acting as though they were their brothers and sisters. He loves adventures, dangerous situations and taunting other people.
• Powers: Jack doesn't age, and his body is can transform itself into different physical material or the like- for example, if any part of his body touches metal, his body becomes metal, and he can transform his arms and limbs into metal weapons. Same goes for any other physical material, but not elements.
• Other Skills: He's also incredibly agile and strong, though this comes not only from the "curse" that gave him his powers, but also years of training.
• Background/Origin:
  • Jack was always a kid of the streets. Orphan, he never really liked life in the orphanage, deeming it as too boring. He always spent most of his time on the streets, living the life, always getting into trouble. As time passed, little Jack left school to really live in the streets, entering the world of crime at an early age, and due to his greedy and lustful nature, always wanting more and more, he told himself that he would become the greatest crime lord. And as he grew, and grew, the streets molded Jack into a 21 year old who wants to taste every single pleasure in the world- be it money, food or women- and have everything at his fingertips, including power. However, one day, after sending some of his "partners" to take care of a certain doctor that was working on a cure that would stop any kind of addiction, he was kidnapped by said doctor, who said that his mission to eliminate any kind of addiction would not be stopped by an idiot like Jack, injecting him with some sort of serum that was supposed to kill him...
  • ... Except the serum reacted in the wrong way, changing Jack's skin and eye color, and giving him his abilities. After killing the doctor and destroying his laboratories, Jack returned to his gang, and decided to change things a little bit- he would assume the identity of a masked hero, Lucunditas, and take down any crime operations that posed a threat to his own gang's power and money, effectively becoming a crime lord by day, and a superhero by night.
• Miscellaneous Notes: Always walks without a shirt and barefoot, saying that this helps him stay in contact with any elements he might want to "adapt" his body to. He also eliminated any evidence that could relate him to the death of the doctor that wanted to cure all addictions, saying he obtained his powers from an ancient curse.

Maybe it's me, but playing what amounts to a character from Prototype sounds a bit too much like a villain.

Hey, don't worry about it. 4 is the minimum for each side, but definitely not the maximum. If you want to put Fogata back in, and unregistered, go for it.

@Totemic: Keep in mind Registered has an alien supersoldier, The Thing on steroids, and a mimic who is the sum total of every defense mechanism and biological adaptation of Earth's biosphere XD

@Insano: I'm sorry, but I have not played Prototype, nor should I have to do research on the games to know what his powers are. You're going to have explain his powers here in full. Sorry.

@Statofarius: I don't know... Maybe he could work, but he seems an awful lot like a villain, albeit one that just has his own honor system. Now, a reason why I won't let you all play villains is, 1)The focus is primarily on the two factions of heroes, and 2) playing villains would bring in a 3rd faction, and I think it's better and more streamlined to just have two factions. With your character the way he is, he'd probably just be taking care of his gang, and doing his own thing. Mind you, I'm not discouraging free-roam, or creating subplots, but as some may point out, you guys are expected to come together at some point. And not to mention, he's a villain, which no doubt would not sit well with the other heroes. ...Perhaps your character could grow to accept the others as his 'friends' as well, as he works with them, and in turn, gain a slightly better set of morals from example? Tell me what you honestly think here.

Honestly? That is exactly what he would go through. At the beginning, he's a greedy jackass who only works as a hero when it helps his gang. But suddenly, he starts doing other things as a hero, and finds himself allied with the other heroes, in a set of events that will slowly change him.

On second thought, I'm probably going to want to create a new character for this. No offense, but the power levels here are a little crazy high compared to the first go around, so Fogata would have trouble keeping up.
