I personally was not a fan of it. Spoilers below.

The game set up the idea that you had choices, like whether to be with Selina or Vicki Vale. I decided to go with Vicki Vale, no matter how much the game tried to get me to pick Catwoman. And then at the end, it doesn’t matter anyways, because Vickie is secretly insane and evil and dies. No matter what you do, the game railroads you into that.

Aside from the illusion of choice, there’s just... the blatant disrespect? Vicki Vale is sometimes abrasive or a bit of a jerk, but she’s never been a domestic terrorist. It’s horrible Character Assassination, and it made me drop Telltale Batman right then and there.

I enjoyed the games quite a lot. And hey they are super cheap now. And i really do enjoy Penguin and Joker's version in the Series.

Telltale is kinda like Bioware... Choice is only an aesthetic choice.

Rereading the DC You era of Batman...

Man... I have misgivings about the bunny Suit but damn if Jim doesn't give his damndest to be Batman 'Think he should have gotten a precursor to the Beyond suit'

but those issues where Bruce comes storming in demanding to be taken to the Cave, Alfred pleading with him not to go back to that life, to finally be happy

The various possibilities of Bruce's life all begin to crumble as he forces himself to remember

and Julie being the one to let the Bruce she loves go

and then after it all Jim lamenting if he had been good enough Br... Batman could have been happy and finally rested 'I love all the little hints where Jim clearly knows who Batman and Batgirl are... I love the scene in Batgirl where Jim decks Bruce after Batgirl is pretty much pinned for killing her Psycho Brother'

Man the new batman issue was really really dumb. Thomas beat up Duke tim Barbara Kate Damian Helena and cass at the same time

Yeah, there’s no way in hell he could beat Cassandra. He’s like 60 years old, and she’s gone toe to toe with Lady Shiva. I genuinely refuse to believe he could ever hold a candle to Cass.

Also Stop using Shiva as some magical power level, She gets her ass kicked plenty just like all the other TOP best martial artists when they appear in the bat books. Cass is still a 16-17 year old girl who doesn't weigh more then 120 soaking weight. Yes its stupid Thomas pushing 60+ is able to take a beating and then completely thrash them all... Well in the way its shown, If Thomas out batman'd the fuck out of them using the cave to his advantage maybe but just straight up brawling with them. Either Thomas is just that much of a Beast or He hits like Stallone.

Frankly I'm sick of the Invincible Cass nonsense, Its the mystical martial artist stereotype.

There are ways to beat Cass outside of combat. Problem is Thomas didn't exactly use them. It doesn't help that Cass has been a bit of an Adaptational Wimp since her return in Rebirth.

Size and weight isn’t all there is to fighting. And yes, I will say that Cass is nigh unbeatable in a fist fight, because that’s how she’s been depicted. She knows what you will do before you do it, and she’s been training to fight since she was a toddler. Bruce has flat out said that Cass can beat him in a fight. Shiva being worfed was retconned recently to be her letting people win, so her status as the world’s greatest fighter was restored. Cass and five other people being beaten by Thomas is fucking ridiculous and should be called out as such.

Read the January solicits...doesn't seem like Batman/Catwoman is starting in January, I wonder what the hold up is.

No I agree its ridiculous but its more due to the fact its lazily done. but again Doubling down that Cass and Shiva are Unbeatable due to their super martial arts skills is Equally ridiculous cause it sets some magical bullshit quality to them. Cause if all they are are ridiculous king fu I win cards... They fucking deserve to be knocked off their pedestal. Shiva herself is a shit character to begin with since like Cheshire she's every obnoxious Dragon Lady cliche' rolled into one. and Cass whole Nigh daredevil like senses are treated more like Kenshiro's super powered martial arts... and He can cure Blindness!

And? These are comics. Superman can shoot lasers from his eyes, Batman can get stabbed or shot and bounce back within seconds, and Jason Todd is a zombie. How is martial art mysticism any more absurd or bad?

Then you've answered your own question, Thomas overcoming the Rest of the Bat family is absurd, and you're only complaining about it cause it happened to characters you like instead of reveling in it when they do it in kind. Basically when Bruce does it, its Okay, When someone else does it, its WRONG!!!

But for a more concrete answer, You know hoe many times the whole Shiva let you win after a string of defeats has been used? Its like clockwork. Just like how Thomas winning is "Bad" due to how lazy its done. Stating Shiva didn't lose, therefore she's still unbeatable. is the same type of Bad. ITS FUCKING LAZY WRITING. Its like when Bruce is trapped in a room with 50 marines and cut away and his won with barely a scratch. Basically constantly implying that Cass is always capable of beating her opponent in a fist fight is the same mistake as Eliza vs Gene. Eliza may know the act is coming, but she's physically incapable of reacting in time. Cass is atleast interesting outside of her ability as a fighter, Shiva's only claim to fame which people will die on a hill for is She's really good at kicking ass. outside of that She's got nothing going on. She's just a yard stick

Personally, I don't see how Shiva qualifies as a Dragon Lady. She's not really a manipulator nor is she remotely a seductress.

bruce would probably have trouble beating all his family at once and even if he won it would take his gadgets and it wouldnt be a straight up brawl and hed only win because he knows them and their weaknesses. thomas is an old man who somehow beat them all gadgetless with at least half of the people there being trained fighters in their prime.

A key detail has been left out of this Thomas thing so far here... he beat them all after they had already kicked the crap out of him.

So he's already at least twice as old as anyone there and had been beaten up. But still somehow defeats six better and uninjured martial artists who are in their physical prime.

To be Fair, Beating up Tim, Damian and Barbara isn't all that incredible... Though Yes its pretty blatant I'm Batman Power armor for him to beat Cass, Kate and Helena without any real strategy and after taking a beating... then again Bruce does Bullshit like this all the time. Hell Cass did it the Tec run when she plowed through Shiva's personal corps of over 100 guys. Don't give me but those are nameless grunts. Its still textbook case of bad writing meant to make Cass look formidable. Thomas punking the other Bats is meant to set him up as a threat to Bruce... Granted Thomas already beat Bruce in the cave... or did he with the whole I saw through you're plan bit earlier

x3, yeah, January's Dollar Comic is reprinting the Earth-2 story where Bruce and Seina got married, and they bill it as "in advance of Batman/Catwoman#1" so they're certainly teasing the possibility of that outcome again.
