So I came across this MAD and I watched it out of curiosity and uh...never noticed the parallels between Goku and Bardock there.

Though the Son is bit more successful.

I mean, he's failing constantly now, but still saved the day more than Bardock did.

Hell, even when Goku fails, it's only really in terms of winning the one on one fight: he still kinda saves the day or at least plays a role in it.

Goku's failures are more successful than Bardock's.

Alright so last night Toonami finally aired the final episode of Super, thus finishing the show's dub & Western broadcast run.

And now I have to ask what's next?....... No seriously what's next now, what waiting for the manga? Shit wasn't there a movie announced a while ago or something?

They did announce a movie, but it was only in the earliest stages of pre-production. Basically what they said was "we think we're going to do another movie, but we're still thinking about what it could be about".

Don't expect it any time soon.

GeGeGe no Kitaro (the show which replaced Super in its timeslot) is apparently in its final arc so I guess wait till that's over?

Any news right now comes in the form of rumors, but the people that usually know about these things first seem pretty confident that more Super will be happening.

Otherwise, there's the manga. Moro is pretty cool.

In Legends? Shallot is helping Caulifla find Kale.

We also saw Caulifla meet Fasha, which was great.

[up][up]You know, I thought you were joking, but he totally did have the Heaven Ascension DIO body (and voice actor), Omega Shenron back spikes, and Sage of the Six Paths orbs. I had forgotten about that comment while watching it, and I made direct references to the latter two myself.

You know, I'm starting to think the Heroes team doesn't care about Power Level consistency. I mean really, having base Goku put up even a bit of a fight against fused Zamasu is ludicrous. The only reason base Goku was able to fight Jiren was because Jiren was just that exhausted and weak, Zamasu has infinite energy and hadn't even started fighting at that point, so he has no excuse. Jiren and Hit teaming up to take down Zamasu is a great idea, but then Hearts happened before they could even get started, so that was a wasted opportunity.

Also, Jiren was WAY too big here, like WTF huge. He was like two feet taller than Goku, and as various shots in the Tournament of Power show, the height gap between them is not THAT big. Goku is canonically 5"9' and Jiren is, AT MOST, 6" even, Goku's eye level is at Jiren's chin. I legit thought that Jiren was going to be revealed to be a fake or illusion, just because the height difference was so extreme and obvious.

I'm still sad that Takehito Koyasu was used for a Heroes villain.

He deserves to voice a real major character.

...Does being immortal mean you have infinite energy?

Like, I would think you could still get. I dunno. Tired.

Zamasu managed to reproduce a bunch of presumably equally strong Zamasus in the manga

and Anime Zamasu infected the universe which implies even more infinite energy I guess

Zamasu seemed to have the best of both worlds, infinite energy and infinite regeneration. The only downside was that he was significantly weaker than the SSBs, so he fused with Goku Black, and I guess Fused Zamasu is only half immortal, so he has a limitlessly replenishing supply of energy and infinite regeneration (except regenerating melts and corrupts his body).

I think that the energy of magical immortality would give you an endless source of energy. Future Zamasu felt no pain despite that not being connected to not dying(Cell had a biological-based immortality From a Single Cell level, but it didn't take away from his pain sensors), so it means magical immortality changes you on a biological level. So I guess there would be an infinite energy to prevent the body from wearing down at all. There'd have to be to let Future Zamasu regenerate without effort(again, Cell, the closest any biological being in the series has to an immortal, states he has a drop in energy after regenerating). Of course Buu didn't have stamina issues, but he's not biological

Buu did have stamina issues against Gohan, himself, and Beerus, so presumably he does have a stamina limit, he just doesn't have a regeneration limit. Buu also does seem to feel pain.

I really, really needed to get this all out and would appreciate some feedback for it, so please, somebody, answer this post

1. What was the name of the Dragon Ball episode where Goku is training by swimming with rocks tied to him via ropes?

2. A lot of people seem to have a very somewhat high opinion of the battle between Gohan and Cell, but for me, it feels like there are way too many cons for every pro about that story arc, and I basically just stopped watching after Gohan started fighting. For one thing, it has Goku actually giving up on his fight against Cell and then having him send Gohan in, in order to finish the job, which results in Gohan getting relentlessly pummeled as a result. Not only does this make Goku look bad but it also doesn’t paint Gohan in a very good light at first either, which, from what I have come to understand about the rest of this arc, does not really go away, and the responses and reactions of the other characters in regards to all of this do not help either. Next it actually has Cell gain the upper hand in the fight, which again, despite being a classic storytelling method to raise the stakes, does not make either Gohan or his father look very good. And then there was that whole “Goku sacrifices himself and then refuses to be wished back to life” thing, not only am I a little bit confused about how the details of that situation in regards to the Dragon Balls was supposed to work, but, in addition to this ultimately being what drives a wedge between both Goku and King Kai, it also seems kind of pointless, considering what was to come later on. I mean, don’t see much of anything about the succeeding stories being that much different if Goku was allowed to survive that ordeal with Cell. That’s about all I’ve got to say

...

I quite hope that, at the end of the current manga arc, with a defeated Moro being taken away by the Galactic Patrol and swearing revenge, Beerus just drops by, goes "oh sorry, was supposed to be doing my job", and just HAKAI's Moro away, to the amazed frustration of everybody present.

I am surprised that the Yardrat of round head became canon.

I am surprised at the simple fact that Toriyama remembers the designs he create for Dragon Ball Online.
