Really my biggest complaint is the combat.

I feel like I should be paying more attention to this game...

...I can't quite recall: is it for Switch too? If so, I might give it a look.

So we have Goku and Piccolo Driving minigame, Gohan's high school baseball minigame, and playable Badman Shirt Vegeta. Not sure how we can top this.

Telling Bad jokes to King Kai mini-game.

It's the ultimate in emersion.

God, I unironically would love that. How about "Oolong playing Rock-Paper-Scissors with Beerus" minigame?

If theres a Vegeta/Bulma dating sim mixed in there somewhere, I'm naming this game if the year.

Jokes aside, this is an absolute buy for me. Which is funny because I was so unimpressed by the initial trailer.

CyberConnect2 actually knows what Fans want out of their anime games, both Licensed and original.

Unlike certain other Studios.....

I'm reminded of games like Red Dead 2 or Skyrim where there's a superfluous ton of side materials guaranteed to make you forget about the main quest-line for a long, long time.

Its a major compliment to get compared to those games so kudos to Kakarot.

The only thing that could honestly make this even better now is if the game goes to Super content and we get a dancing mini-game with Vegeta.

Oh my god a rhythm game set to the bingo song would be absolutely incredible omg!

If nothing else post Z gets in I still really hope some Battle of Gods content gets in, there’s so much potential for fun minigames based on it and the tone of the movie seems like it would fit the tone the game is going for perfectly. Maybe there could be a cooking minigame where if you screw up Beerus destroys the planet

Bingo Dance Vegeta?

Well I'm sold.

I could see it as DLC, alongside a Kid Goku story.

Also an Asura's Wrath crossover special somehow, but thats wishful thinking on my part....

Para Para Dance as an alternate track to dance to.

Gogeta is live on Fighterz and for the life of me i cant figure out if either him or Vegito is the stronger fusion.

So who is it then?

Canonically or in-game?

Gameplay wise, Vegeto seemed to be tailor built to be a "do-anything" character that can do pretty much everything in the game effectively, and Gogeta seems built to be even more into that idea - with options for basically any situation.

Canonwise, iirc I think Vegeto is supposed to be stronger.

Ironically Gogeta has the better win-rate.

Vegito in his fight against Super Buu & Marged Zamasu has never technically defeated either of them, generally defusing right before their beaten.

Gogeta in his only 3 fights with Janemba, Omega Shenron, & Broly, he has straight up defeated Janemba & Broly.

So his 2 out of 3 beats Vegito's 0 out of 2.

I'd give the Super Buu one as a win given that he was dominating the fight and only didn't finish the job because he wanted to save the others.

This is why win/loss ratios aren't that helpful. Vegetto's goal was to free Gohan et Al and defeat Boo, he succeeded at one of those and failed the other due to a quirk outside of his control.

Also, Gogeta can become a little too focused on winning, see his intent to full-on murder Broly after Broly has stopped fighting back and is clearly terrified. Especially contrasted with how Goku had previously seen the good in him and extended an olive branch towards Broly, which Gogeta seemed to have completely forgotten in the moment in favor of his blood-lust.

So...what was he supposed to do then?

He also had every intention of beating Zamasu and was succeeding in doing so, once again bring trumped by a quirk outside of his control.

Gogeta is stronger than Vegetto because the only canon version of Gogeta uses stronger versions of Goku and Vegeta than the most recent version of Vegetto does.
