In a recent interview, John Allison referred to the universe of his comics as "the Bobbins-verse or whatever." So there's the official name: The Bobbins-verse Or Whatever!

If that sandbox looks alright, I'll go ahead and publish it. One thing it needs is some info about Bobbins itself, which I've never read.
Please enjoy our brand new Bobbinsverse page. Needs More Love, naturally.
Shauna is really very, very cool, isn't she?
= Spindriver =Final? Say it ain't so!
It ain't so. Phew, I was worried for a while there.
Well, I think that's a small personal Crowning Moment Of Awesome for Shauna.
= Spindriver =Good grief — how long did that take to write, I wonder? And how many of those comics would one wish to see?
= Spindriver =So I've recently started reading this comic. I really like it o far (I never knew selkies had such comedic potential!) but there's one thing that really bugs me. In Chapter 4 (the one with the onions), why does Shauna suddenly change her mind about Corky? She spends most of the chapter being (understandably) cold towards him yet then at the end for no reason she suddenly wants to eat with him? Does anyone know what the deal with that is?
At a guess, gratitude for his at least trying to help her, and feeling sorry for him.
So I just finished the Case of the Forked Road. The fuck was that ending? Will the boys' personalities be permanently altered for the rest of the comic now or what?
I read The Case Of The Modern Men a couple months ago, but never bothered to mention it because no one seems to really care about this thread.Kinda disappointed Shauna's death metal career didn't last I think the biggest problem with the story though was the apparent change in Camille. Early in the chapter she seems to actually become regretful of what she's done, and she and Claire seemed to be on somewhat good terms with each other. Next we see her, she has once again embraced the assholery and she and Claire re now enemies, with no context to explain the change. Did she just fake her regret? Did she change her mind offscreen? It really feels like there's a missing scene somewhere. The author mentioned that there are extra pages in the printed versions, and that he hoped to explore the relation between Claire and Camille in those. maybe he could fill the gaps in the relationship between Shauna and Corky, too.
I also read the "new" Bobbins strips. I really have no idea what the deal with Boyce's afterlife was, it's up there with the ending of The Case Of The Forked Road as one of the wierdest scenes ever in these comics.
Also, in case there's still anyone around besides me who cares, Space Is The Place just finished today.
This comic always reminds me of Educating Yorkshire (particularly the couple of girls in it with massive hairsprayed hair), a fly-on-the-wall documentary set in a school which both depicts a lot of stupid teenage drama, and contextualises/humanises it through individual interviews with the kids and teachers.
A lot of teenagers (and adults, but I think kids are a bit more honest about such stuff) are well aware that they're acting like dicks to certain people, and that they only do it because of peer pressure. They might even admit this to that person in a moment of honesty. Doesn't mean they're going to stop doing it, if the peer pressure is still there.
We've had hints of an upcoming "Erin, Queen of Hell" story/comic coming up sometime. I think some things may be setting up for that.
Or, Allison doesn't mind being random or torturing his characters arbitrarily sometimes.
= Spindriver =We've already seen Erin ruling hell, getting bored with it and escaping back to the surface.
Right. I'd forgotten about that already..

Yes, but she had to return to the job, voluntarily, in her (as it turned out ironic) attempt to trade her mortality for Boyce's life. And the 8th Jan rant/blog post said:
...accompanied by a cover image for Mordawwa which ... well, see for yourself◊.
= Spindriver =Well since I made that post I rad a thread on another forum where the dominant theory seemed to be that Mordawwa's horse was actually Boyce reincarnated. It does look pretty similar to Boyce's ghost,
Given especially that the horse was called "Scientist", I was pretty much taking that for granted. Though it's something of an assumption that Erin is Mordawwa; I don't think that has been determined anywhere.

= Spindriver =Every now and again, John Allison does one of these, and they are annoyingly brilliant. I'd love to see any of those comics. And I don't know how many readers will get, say, the "Rockpile" gag, but deduce from its presence that there must be a whole load of stuff on that page that I'm missing.
= Spindriver =So I decided to wait with reading Mordawwa until the story was finished and now I can't find it on the site anymore. Anyone who can help me out?
Tackleford Shared Universe, perhaps? I think it should be clear that it's not the name of a work.
Which reminds me: Webcomic/ or Franchise/ ?
