The normal way to announce this would be to post in the "What's your most recently launched article" thread in the Trope Talk subforum, or to make a thread in the Fan Fiction subforum.
I went ahead and moved this thread to Fan Fiction.

I've been reading for a while and I must say it is actually better than I expected.
The whole comment thing makes me think of interviews.
And I like the fact that it's all accurate, even down to the characters.
Also I'm starting to like this version of Gamzee with the depersonalisation disorder more than the Gamzee with the psychopathy.

FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageThis is probably my favorite Homestuck fanfic and in fact probably my favorite fanfic in general. As Steven there said it's very accurate. From the illnesses themselves to how those facilities are run (I've been in one) to the way the characters act and interact. I like how the authors have managed to keep the characters true to their comic selves while still building up its own intricate canon and interpretations.
It's also very hard hitting I found. Kanaya's backstory bits, Heart in particular, hit very, very close to home with me. That can make reading it unpleasant and in fact too unpleasant for some (I have a friend who can't read it because of that). In my case I found it to be a good influence if anything since I finally admitted I had a problem and took it seriously for once. So much so that I wrote about that shortly after reading the piece and angsting and submitted it before scheduling an appointment with my psychiatrist the purpose of which was "Guess what I've been hiding from you for a few years though you may already know because you're perceptive and shit!". She already did know.
Which is something else I like about it. The collaborative aspect of it. Some people send in descriptions of their own experiences, art of the characters, short stories, or just ask the people at St. Lobaf's questions. Yet it still very clearly has a path and order given out by the people writing it.

If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahI think Terezi as a therapist actually makes sense.
As much sense as her dream of being a Alternian lawyer person whose proper name escapes me.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageLegiscerator. Not sure if I spelled it right, but that is close enough.
And yeah Terezi being a therapist makes quite a deal of sense in my eyes. And I'm endlessly happy that Rose isn't one.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahAfter the events of SBURB, I'd be surprised if anyone comes away without PTSD or a coping mechanism.
They saw billions die, their Guardians hunted down and slaughtered and the trolls must live with the fact that their comrades were betrayed and one of those bastard psychos got away with it because Karkat decided to become Jegus at that moment...Kanaya would've become my absolute favourite character out of all of them if I saw her going back to the others with Gamzee's severed head and a bloody chainsaw.
But maybe I'm being bitter.
John in particular is going to cry himself to sleep after SBURB. Poor lad.
Rose becoming an alcoholic is too likely that I don't want to think about it.

FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageAnd in the end that is likely the fate of most heroes of such tales.
We may romanticize the struggles of heroes in the epics, but in reality they would likely be broken shadows of their former selves.
Rose becoming an alcoholic is...frighteningly likely. Though many would call it "cliche" and "too easy". I personally think it's a matter of how well the author pulls the concept off.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahI think that Jade is also going to be one of the worst affected.
She was an idealistic, silly girl before SBURB.
And there are signs she's suppressing a metric fuckton (Metric Fuckton should be a unit of measurement) of trauma. Especially the conversation/beating of her sprite, she mentions that she's not crying, because there's a future to save
I really don't want her to end up completely broken. She's my favourite kid.
The only person I see coming out of this somewhat intact is Gamzee, because psychopaths don't feel guilt or empathy, they don't see people, only tools and toys. Fucking Bastard Psycho Clown Bastard.
I used to like Gamzee. Then again, psychopaths usually have high charisma.
Also added an Heartwarming entry.

FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageThe Vriska fanarts are distressing me somewhat.
Because even in Brainbent she's still too young.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageGamzee is about as accountable for his actions as a dog with rabies. He still needs to be put down, sure, but you'll shed Manly Tears while you press the gun to his head.
They assed first. I am only retaliating in an ass way. -The Dead Man's LifeNot me. I'd gladly pull the trigger myself.

FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageI love Brainbent! I'm on the autism spectrum, and I found Nepeta's story to be an incredibly poignant and accurate portrayal of what an aspie kid goes through...I've recommended them to people who don't even read Homestuck but want to understand Asperger Syndrome better, actually.
The entire thing is brilliant but Nepeta's portrayal is just so touching for me.
EDIT: Augh, I didn't realize this topic was like a month old! I'm sorry if I'm going against protocol here—I don't usually go on the TV Tropes forums.

Don't worry about it.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageYeah, as long as you're actually contributing something, bumping a thread is not a problem.

Good to know. Thank you. :)
If it doesn't belong here, I apologize. I really don't know where else to put it.
Anyway, I made a new page for Brainbent, though it's nowhere near complete.
If anyone wants to add tropes, work that Wiki Magic!
