It was the subject of one already. Noting that for all its re-releases Skyrim has bugs from launch Bethesda has never addressed because they know they dont have to.
In a shocking twist to the ongoing ActiBlizz saga, an internal investigation by ActiBlizz finds that ActiBlizz has done nothing wrong.
A truly shocking turn of events!
If you have not been paying attention to the situation, that is.

Of course that shit heel would do that
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. The sort of people who bring up artists' visions when complaining about female characters wear too much clothing attack an artist for his vision.
Funny how "artist's vision" only ever comes up in regard to justifying scantily-clad women that breathe through their skin or borderline children in thong-bikinis and not in regards to things like story themes, inclusive elements, character arcs, visual and artistic direction.....
But it's fine to make fun of indie games (where artist's vision is a lot stronger) because a lot of popular ones have stories dealing with mental health, I suppose.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaIt's funny to see these guys whining about censorship in Street Fighter 6 and then go on Youtube where I'm being recommended "thicc Chun-Li" meme videos.
Also, why do these guys think putting women in clothes is a "western concept"? Do they think Japan is a place where women and girls run around freely in dental floss?
Edited by windleopard on Jul 5th 2022 at 11:04:52 AM
Selective bias. They choose to play the dental floss games and so they think all games are dental floss and must be dental floss.
I don't really get the issue with this either. I mean, the previous games and artwork with the dental floss outfits are still around, after all. What really matters is the gameplay at the end of the day.
And people throwing a fit over the Monkey Island art are fucking idiots. Did they forget that every fucking Monkey Island game has had different art styles? It's not a "betrayal" that this game will have a new art style. And while it's perfectly okay to not like the art style for whatever reason, there's no justification at all to personally attack the creator.
Disgusted, but not surprisedA lot of it seems to genuinely boil down to a combination of despising change and getting angry that they can't pretend that everything caters exclusively to them anymore.
Plus a lot of performative anti-wokeness perpetuated by people who don't understand what they're acting against.
Not Three Laws compliant.Honestly the most hilarious part of the backlash is that the pants actually made her hotter.
Your signature basically captures my reaction to all this.
Sadly, too many people feel like they're entitled to act like assholes online. They're probably the same sort of idiots that whine "But I'm providing constructive criticism! You can't improve if you don't take critique!" when others call them jerks.
"So which of the six previous art styles do you want?"
entire group devolves into infighting with the one poor Escape From Monkey Island visuals fan thrown out immediately

Here's a Topic for Steph, Unity has announced they are merging with Ironsource. a company known for distributing malware, so severe it got blacklisted on Windows by Microsoft as their stuff was used to make fake executables.
Not sure if it would get a whole Jimquisition but I can't wait for Steph to tear apart Ubisoft's decision to include Assassin's Creed 3, Brotherhood and Liberation in the Steam Summer Sale, tempting everyone to buy them at 75% off... and then announce after the sale ends that these games will be removed from Steam come September. Not 'no longer available to purchase, but you can still play them'. No longer available on Steam at all. I've bought a few games that are no longer for sale - Keen Dreams, Team Indie, Duke Nukem, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Poker Night at the Inventory, Alan Wake (that one came back recently) - but you can still play them if you bought them. It's probably happened before but I've never seen a high-profile developer outright remove the ability to play a game after the customer has paid for it.
Ubisoft has clarified (or backpedalled) that the games remain available to download still on steam.
The DL Cs however are no longer available at all even if you bought them.
Shit like this is why I stick with physical where possible, and when not, go with GOG over Steam.
Ukrainian Red CrossRegarding the Unity/Ironsource merger thing...why?
Like, corporate greed aside, what si the point of such a merger, trying to see how many of the games using their engine can become spyware? Trying to get themselves blacklisted from Windows?

Not sure but it's frankly very concerning.
Also a lot of places like Kotaku for example are presenting this as Unity merging with "an ad company" which is fucking burying the lead.

Right, now I'm remembering it.
