Most of Falkon's resources were obtained through either hunting wild animals or taking stuff from abandoned shops, so I'd say... $25?

So, I was thinking that I should specify what Blight's pistol is. Does a Browning Hi-Power Practical work?

Big bullets would be good.

Hence why I upscaled Jadis's rifle to use the M14's round despite being based on the M16.

I'd suggest nothing with a caliber smaller than .45. You want stopping power.

Do you have a suggestion? I don't have much knowledge of guns.

EDIT: oh wait, I have an answer now. Thanks.

M1911, then.

Higher calibers certainly will put the horrors of the night down faster.

Though 9mm is somewhat easier to get a hold of.

Anyway, awake now. Post coming soon; will probably go ahead and skip along a bit again.

Also, the hellhound I refered to in my post is the Black Dog, otherwise known as the Cu Sith, and several other names throughout the british isles.

They are noted by their shadowy black fur, their glowing red eyes, and their ability to teleport in darkness.

Fun times.

Hey people. I'm here, and planning to post soon. I'm expecting to get distracted later, but I will try to keep checking in now and then.

Now, a quick check since I'm not 100% sure, @M&D: Is Jadis actually looking around the corner yet, or just near it? It sounds like she's looking around it, but again, not 100% sure.

For now, I'll assume she is. But I will prepare to edit my post accordingly if otherwise.

People, please bear in mind that I'm on a different timezone altogether...

Also, is people autohitting or something?

No, against zombies I'd imagine it to be fine. Also, the general rule is first come, first serve. Timezones can be a problem, yes, but we can't really help that.

@ Acriznips: Please tell me you're playing your character to be like that. That was a lot of wasted ammo when you could have just headshot him with one bullet.

well I was trying to play it like in a real situation. normally the chances of hitting the head on a zombie are slim especially when its the kind that can move fast and there isn't much room inside a hospital corridor. Also a double tap is always the best choice since it eliminates the chance of a zombie coming back to life.

Uh, it was already down, slowed, and injured. If you read Finrock's post, he'd hit it with a shotgun blast and downed it. All it needed was the decapitation.

What caliber do your guns use, btw?

@Atomic Nut: I try to judge when I should or shouldn't continue without posts from whatever player(s) yet. Sometimes I make that judgement wrong; my apologies.

@Autohitting: Yes, against these zombies it's fine. And after all, my rules do kinda say right now that you guys can do that to enemies unless I say you can't.

Though, after thinking about that, I'll most likely invert it to the other way around. IE, you can't autohit enemies unless I say you can.

@Thing with Dean: The zombie was indeed already slowed down, so you could probably change that if you want to. As for Wysp's question about the guns, it would seem that they both use .45. (His guns being the .45 version of this and this, according to his character sheet and a quick search.)

Anyway, as I forgot to mention it ahead of time yesterday, I instead get to let you guys know now that I've got work later today and need to go get ready for it and such. (Man, I'm just awesome at scheduling, right?) So, I may not be getting a post in the main thread done until after work.

Fine then I will change my post. I had assumed that the zombie had stumbled back and was still standing and was not on the ground.

Btw, I might not be around for a few hours since I'll be on a plane and don't know if there will wi-fi.

Back from work. Looks like there was still some confusion, so I'll try to straighten it up.

@Acrizn: I was saying you could change you post if you wanted to, but that it'd be up to you. Also, the zombie actually was still standing; it got stumbled by the shot but didn't fall down. So for a moment, it was pretty much not moving, meaning Dean could easily get it in the head in that time; or pull out his pistol and do that torso-leg-head combo thing. It's up to you.

Anyway, I'll assume that Dean kills it one way or another, and will likely be posting in the near future.

EDIT: Or I could end up getting distracted for several hours by my friends. Darn.

[up]Just to clarify, the handgun Dean uses is the Fnp Tactical in .45 ( big difference in comparison to the standard model)

Update on the flight: Soo here the deal. I have to go to another country and I don't know whether or not I will be able to get back online or for how long I will be away. I will try to put up a quick post before I'm in the air again, but in the meantime just pretend that Dean survives the attack (or attacks).

Going to another country? Well, good luck man.

If I may ask, is it for business, moving, or vacation?
