While it might have been Fine's backstory, Shem-ha just takes it further. She's also against the Cure of Balal for a completely different reason then Fine is.

Mmm, Kimi Dake Ni might be next episode, but at the same time it might be in the final episode. That wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Bahahahahaha oh my god Shem-ha turned herself into language. This is the exact kind of stupid shit I come to Symphogear for.

Can't believe it took me until Millaarc was doing the leg screw attack with her clone to realize she is one big send up to Morrigan from Darkstalkers.

I can't believe it took me this long to figure out she was supposed to be a vampire. I had thought she was gonna turn out to be a dragon, what with the scaly wings and beefy reptilian limbs.

And this time she got into being Getter ROBO. OPEN GET.

The name wasn't a give away? Millaarc rearranges to Carmilla. I think she's also from the Eastern end of Austria, but that doesn't come up as much in the show.

I think the characters are something about war and singing. Given Symphogear is normally written with katakana... (as someone helpfully pointed out to me, it's the first part of the title: Senki Zesshou)

Yup, Hibiki's mother and grandmother. But that looks a lot like their home and most definitely not anywhere weird.

Current best guess for the red wires seems to be "Chris's amalgam".

Hibiki, stop cheating on your girlfriend just because she's possessed by the Greater-Scope Villain of the whole series. I thought you were better then that.

It's fine, it's Chris. I'm sure Miku wouldn't mind too much if it was Chris so long as she gets to join in later.

Not really torn up that Noble Red didn't survive the season

I'm wondering how the next episode will go for climax/wind down ratio.

On one hand I think GX went too far with wrapping things up in 10 minutes. But I feel like the final season needs some resolution/direction for the future of the gears.

Ideally I wish they could have 15-16 minutes of the climix, just a little bit of wrapping things up and put the rest into an OVA.

But I don't think they'll break the pattern they have at this stage.

It's kind of hard to survive the season when you go all in on rejecting people like that. That's how Symphogear goes; if you don't reach out to anyone or try to communicate you're generally in for a bad time at the end of it. But if you reach out, it goes a lot better for you.

Makes me wonder why there's so much doomsaying about how this must be a tragic ending.

I think its mainly because the show is ending, and what they planned to do in s1 before they changed their minds.

They changed their minds, had a big disagreement in G about how dark the show should be, and have been pretty consistent about it since. It's pretty ridiculous.

I've seen everything from the colour of their hair in this latest X-Drive, Hibiki's expression in the freeze frame, the lack of the curse of balal on Hibiki and Miku (hint: now Shem-Ha controls the moon IT DOESN'T MATTER), that Vanessa got punched and nearly died, and the tagline used today alone to justify how it must be a tragic ending coming up. The tagline, which talks about a light God does not know. Said god is currently wearing the shenshoujing, which purifies evil; Hibiki's armed gear is completely unrelated to her godslaying; and that's not even counting what Airgetlam might do or X-Drive being a miracle.
