Why is the Trope Intersect tool no longer in that drop-down menu?

It used to be in Toys I think (though it calls itself a Tool), but then it vanished. Though it's still here.

I don't know if anyone still uses those menus, but I think it's still useful enough to show publicly.

...cause, it's pretty cool to mess with. Even though it doesn't recognize a lot of titles. It'd seem like a useful thing to compare media and whatnot.

Because it only works on stuff in the Main namespace, and we're doing our best to get works off the Main namespace and into their medium-specific namespace.

Seriously?

...so what's left to put in Main? Just tropes? How limiting...

[up] It's not limiting (except for using that tool, I guess). It's the same number of pages, with the same information, but now it's better sorted (and thus actually increases the amount of information available at a glace). Main/ is for tropes, because that's the main mission of the wiki. Works, while closely tied to documenting tropes, are not in and of themselves the point of the wiki, which is why we're trying to move them into their own namespaces.

Maybe. Though it doesn't help the Intersecter work better...

...ah, unfortunate that I have little idea how to fix something like that, else I'd volunteer. I suppose it'll just be in the back of the Tvtropes attic...

Bumping to see if this is something that should be asked to be integrated into the new setup.

Apparently no, so closing.
