They didn't go into detail...instead they sneaked in Monroe saying something along the line of "what, did you expect to get all the information at once".
I guess it was a big enough infodump already. I know the captain is half-Hexenbiest, but he's the only half-breed that's ever referred to. And I'm still unsure what the Royal Families are supposed to be. If they're human why do they have so much sway over Wesen?
I think Royals are supposed to maintain stability in the Wesen world that is why they control the Verrat and the Reapers; They were the Royal family and are familiar with Wesen; They help keep the outside world from finding out about Wesen.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThey can't be totally human...they have literally blue blood after all....
It seems the prop designer for "Cold Blooded" is a fan of Assassins Creed.
Those Verrat assassins sure need better training.
Everybody's ruining Christmas this year. The Verrat are worthless mooks. How effective can they possibly be with those huge brands on their hands when everyone knows that those brands mean?
Anybody got a youtube video of killer croc killing that first guy in cold blooded? I wanna watch it again.

Amazon to the rescue.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Hank is going to go rogue, isn't he?
I'm really hoping that the rumors of Sgt. Wu finding out about the Wesen world are true.
What makes you say that? Because he wanted to murder Krampus? I'm thinking it's just a case of the writers slipping every now and then with things the characters say about Wesen rather than some indicator that Hank's going to turn into a Wesen-murdering Well-Intentioned Extremist. After all, in the same episode Nick assaulted an innocent man for something he didn't do just because the guy also happened to be a Wesen (and an ex-con, I guess). Monroe and Rosalee's dialog about the Hollentier from the "El Cucuy" episode sounded rather prejudiced and uncomfortably close to racist (or speciest or whatever the difference is between the different breeds of Wesen).

He was an ex-con and they only knew a Santa was responsible at the time.
He was also a Schakal which is known to eat children.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureYeah. You're right. I forgot that Schakals were infamous for eating kids. I also feel sort of bad for Krampus since the poor guy had no idea what he was and the Wesen Council will probably kidnap him from police custody and murder him.
This isn't the first time I've had concern about Hank, but he for the most part adjusted to the situation better than I expected. Still, the "He's Wesen" line stuck a nerve with me.
The scene your talking about in "El Cucuy" isn't the first like that, which stood out more to me that the Wesen community isn't politically correctly. And when you remember certain Wesen's behavior is a reflection of their species, it falls under "sad, but true".
Maybe, maybe not. The guy isn't a threat to the community as a whole, but its best they find a way to deal with Krampus when it appears again.

Hank has said a few questionable things about Wesen. I think I remember him referring to someone as a "thing" once, but I'm not certain about that.
You're right about the "sad, but true" thing. If you see a young woman who's a Spinnetod, she's most likely a murderer since female Spinnetods have the choice of either murdering young men and sucking out their guts or dying of premature aging. Going by what Monroe says, some Blutbad really do eat muggles and other Wesen.
I wonder if drinking a Grimm's blood would work on Krampus the same way it did Adalind. That's an element that they haven't mentioned again since the first season, at least I can't recall them mentioning it again.
If the council was ready to kill children, I am not sure what they will do to someone like Krampus...though I guess it might be possible just to lock him up for the dangerous time of the year.
If the Schakal had stayed around instead of running (and apparently he had a guilty conscience from the get go), Nick wouldn't have chased him.
Either way, this season is really shaping up to one of the best so far. Well, the Alligators in the sewers were a little bit boring to me, but I guess mostly because I was sure that nothing would happen to Wu or Hank. I was less sure about the kidnapped kids.
On a completely different subject. I heart Bud. This show can get kind of dark at times, and Bud goes a long way towards lightening the mood.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I have said it since the very first season: Everything is better with beavers. Though I had kind of hoped that Bud would rally up his beaver friends so that they would all search the woods...but perhaps in the future.
Man, what is up with Klaustreich and women?
Why am I not surprised about Rasputin.
I wonder if we will ever see a decent Klaustreich....
If we do, it will probably be female. Guessing Joe will be neutered next week.
lol....I look forward to that...I mostly look forward to him trying to scare Juliette and Nick, just to discover that they are one step ahead of him.
I'm glad that the series is branching out with its Wesen now. I'm hoping Baba Yaga shows up and that she isn't just another Hexenbiest. Next week's episode looks like it might be pretty good.
I recorded but didn't watch last night's episode. So there are no hybrid Wesen unless they're like the lion-turtle kid with his homicidal split-personality? Are the Wesen with a human parent any weaker than the ones born of two Wesen or are they somehow full Wesen?
