I'm fairyly certain its gonna be a good game and that's a little sad because the first truly good Final Fantasy Square makes in a long long time is gonna lose them money.

That's not really entirely true.
What customers are sick of is Square pushing badly done games, and Lightning.
Like within the first week of A Realm Reborn coming out it became the second best selling game in Japan.
What I'm saying is I think XV is gonna do well but Square's pumped so much money into they might not make it back. Two animes, a movie, 10 actual years of development, probably more because they only announced it in 2006.

I think I've just started to consider anything big I hear about that's Hyped to be Spore, and then I feel ok about things and just hope whilst knowing the reality.
Did you Know: I got the galactic edition of Spore back when it came out. I got it close to release day I think, pre-ordered it through my local gamestore.
And I ran through the rain to get it.
In my school uniform.

I was disapointed with spore myself, but....
Weirdly for something I was disapointed with, I still actualy enjoyed it, and still do. :/
Which makes me sad it never got a sequal.

Darkspore I think it was.
But yeah, Spore was good fun.
It's just like- incredibly simplified compared to what was first shown and such.

I dont really consider darkspore a sequal, considering it wasn't really.... a spore kinda deal.
You dont advance from a microbe to space.
It was a hero game with a spore skin.

And then, considering it looked like a similar business model to the sims franchise, expected more.

I just wanted aquatic creatures, I would have quit bitching about the game if you could have had aquatic creaturs.
I wanted to be a fucking space fish.
Fun fact, the coding is 90% there, and this was an option up to 6 months before release, but it was pulled because "the controls were too dificult" :/
Like, if it was an optional thing, I dont even get that concern, you dont want to deal with fish controls dont make a fish.

'Cause it was even shown in a press demo.
But 'dat procedural animation...
Which looked better in the alpha builds...
And also the fact that in the creature mode you can still swim out to sea.
And then get met with "Hey you want to cross an ocean? Tough shit, you're gonna get eaten alive suddenly and against your will and control."
