I'm at about the second minute of Hyouka and all I can think of is about the voice.
So long since I've heard Sonohara and Okazaki talking. I'm expecting short brown hair friend to be kicked into a combo any minute now.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Given that I remember you griping about the premise of that series since forever ago, I find this utterly hilarious.
I KNOW ;_;
Seriously, I came in expecting to hate this show... but goddammit it is just too damn funny to hate! Part of it may be that the comedy is by and large totally black (and actually funny), part of it may be because any prior knowledge of the mythos actually makes this even more hilarious in an absurd, surreal way.
Seriously. Loli otaku Genki Girl Nyarlathotep. Who fights Nightguants with grenades and crowbars and does constant sentai posing like she's a one-man Ginyu Force. HOW CAN I HATE THIS? XD

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialThe comedy's black? Well, that's a relief.
What's precedent ever done for us?Tempted to add that to forum made of win.
But you have convinced me to watch, I need to find cliffnotes on the mythos though I only know the bare SMT level stuff.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!More like a one man Kamen Rider.
Watch SymphogearOkay, let's see:
Hyouka is pretty good all around except that the 'mysteries' are incredibly stupid. If that gets improved on it'll be one of the best shows of the season
OZMA has finished. It feels like it was originally intended to be at least twice as long, but they managed to get all the plot in by cutting out the character development and hints about what was going
Saki Achiga Hen is actually the second season, it just has different POV characters
There's an awful lot of stylized and/or mildly surreal series this season. I think SHAFT's influence is spreading
Agreed on Hyouka. The mysteries don't match up to the aesthetics, music, production values, characters, etc.
I seriously doubt this will be the type of mysteries will get for the rest of the show, I guess this was just to introduce the characters, once that is out of the way, real mysteries will start appearing.
Anyway, is it worthy making a thread for it?
No one is going to stop you from making a thread for it. Whether said thread lives or dies is up to the whims of the forum-goers

But of course. I was talking about episode 1 in particular. I did find that mystery vs mystery thing kinda amusing.
I say we wait for episode 2 before starting a thread for Hyouka, since we already talked about the first episode here.
So AKB 0048 is subbed. Is anybody going to watch it?

Infinity......So, um, yes, AKB 0048 is a thing that's aired. The individual dystopia, drama, and idol parts are all reasonably strong, but they're all at odds with each other. Very at odds. It's bizarre. I honestly can't tell if I thought it was good or bad. Not going to be following it, though

AKB... isn't bad...
The production values are much more than I expected, and I like the girls (Hopefully we find out where blue-haired has gone off to).
You're right, the idol and dystopia concepts are at odds with each other. I get it in a 'idols as catalysts for change' way, but it's also kind of silly.
Infinity...
After some constant badgering, my friend got me to (reluctantly) watch Haiyore! Nyaruko-san.
I REALLY SHOULD HATE THIS SHOW BUT I DON'T WHAT IS THISSSSSS
