Really? I'm not seeing the evidence of that on the page.
Unless you mean the examples of zeppelins in a fantasy setting that isn't supposed to be Alternate History Earth?
If you see invalid examples, feel free to cut them.
This title does remind me of Erich Von Danicken, though :)
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! Why do you think a rename would help?
Fight smart, not fair.Well, if it's supposed to be about "zeppelins as a sign of Alternate History" rather then "fictional settings use zeppelins", then the Another World part could be misleading. Not that I necessarily favor a rename, but that's the logic behind it.
I don't get how the trope isn't "Fictional worlds use Zeppelins to make them different from reality." That seems to be the trope from both the title and the description. I don't see anything in it that requires alternate reality and I don't see where it's coming from.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe name seems clear, and so does the description.
The indexes, laconic, page quote, and portions of the description all put an emphasis on the Alternate History part. I don't see why it can't be expanded, but I'm pretty sure that the Alternate History angle was the original focus of the trope.
People write around the examples they have in their heads. It happens.
Fight smart, not fair.
It seems to me that Zeppelins from Another World has degenerated into Everythings Better With Zeppelins- detailing pretty anything involving Zeppelins, rather than using Zeppelins to establish that this is an Alternate History.
