So, first we've had this picture of Brian and Stewie from Family Guy, pulled because "Neither of them look snarky." Next, we had this image of Daria, replaced because "She just looks tired." After that, someone posted an image of Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, though I can't find the reason that got removed. (The image got deleted altogether instead of simply removed from the page, but it looked something like this).

In case we need to throw around some more ideas, I'll try to see sometime if I can get an HD screencap of this scene, and/or a picture featuring EMH Hawkeye.

I honestly can't think of anything that wouldn't be JAFAAC.

This is one of those things that's hard to put into image form.

If there's no dialogue in the pic, this is going to be just about impossible to capture.

Should we modify one with the line of dialogue?

[up] We can give it a shot.

[up][up] What if we included the line in the caption box, like the other Deadpan Snarker pages? I tried to turn on the subtitles when taking a picture of Hawkeye, but they split line ("You know, I'm not sure if I want to be part of a team I have to rescue every week") into two scenes.

I recall being the one who added the Twilight Sparkle image; I double-checked by checking the page history, and sure enough I was; my edit reason was "I like to think this Twilight Sparkle pic makes her look sarcastic, especially since she has that snarky facial expression in mid-air."

I think that's a good way to indicate it; snark is so associated with this character that a physical situation you'd think would have the average person with anything but a snarky face didn't stop this character.

As for adding text to the image, why is that different from putting the same text in the caption?

Text bubbles are generally more conductive than subtitles.

[up] They are a bit misleading, though.

What about my idea of putting it in the caption instead?

[up]It would match several other Deadpan Snarker pages, but this discussion contains debate over whether or not it works.

[up] That has no discussion of pic text vs. caption text, only of what level of JAFAAC is acceptable in Deadpan Snarker pics.

I vote imageless. Not every subpage needs an image.

Clock is set. I'm fine with leaving this one without a pic.
