I wonder if Mitsuko Horie (aka Galaxia from Sailor Stars) will have a cameo appearance in Cosmos?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Did any of the other previous VAs have cameo roles?
Oissu! Some of them did, actually. For example, in the Continuity Reboot, Mami Koyama (Esmeraude) played Queen Serenity, Rumi Kasahara (Ptilol) played Berthier and Daisuke Sakaguchi (Kyusuke Sarashina) voices Itto Asanuma.
Also, in the first part of Eternal, Yoko Ishida (the singer for "Otome no Policy") sang a cover of "Watashi-tachi ni narukete".

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Ironically Megumi Hayashibara has a such a pretty sounding voice that she sounds like she could have played an Inner Guardian... Despite being exactly as old as Usagi's Japanese voice actress who by now sounds extremely unfitting as a teenager.
EDIT: Megumi Hayashibara Also played someone in the old anime.

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I just want to know what the voice directors were smoking directing her in that way.
Like, she doesn't have to sound like Mitsuko Horie (even though Horie was perfect for the role) but Hayashibara's Galaxia sounds so off. She really just sounds like a tantruming teen. I hope the trailer just picked the worst voicelines.
Oissu!Admittedly, a galactic conqueror with the maturity of a bratty teenager is actually kind of disturbing.
And true to real life — a lot of despots and tyrants aren't particularly mature or reasonable people.
Disgusted, but not surprisedAnd again, Megumi is... I am not comfy saying this since this is a no no to do to women... 55 years old.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. What exactly are you trying to say when bringing up her age?
Disgusted, but not surprisedHm, Galactic Overlord Sailor Moon does have a certain ring to it.
I headcanon that that's effectively what Sailor Chaos would be — an Evil Counterpart to Sailor Moon specifically. Basically, Chaos would model her Senshi form to resemble Usagi as a cruel mockery.
Heck, the live action adaptation of Sailor Moon played with the idea of "Sailor Moon but EVIL" too. Though in that case it was less Galactic Overlord and more Bringer of the Apocalypse.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI mean to say she is not a bratty teenager because she isnt played by a teenager, Phi Sat. Who would have fit more according to you? I would suggest Mami Koyama but she may sound TOO old.
EDIT: WHOOPS brainfarted again and talked to the wrong troper.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I never said Megumi Hayashibara was a teenager. Obviously she's not a teenager, she's been voice acting since the late 80s. And obviously she's not actually tantruming, she's acting. I said the voice she used for Galaxia sounded like a tantruming teenager voice.
I would have brought back Horie (unless she's retired or did not feel comfortable doing the voice anymore) or hired Miyuki Sawashiro (her Raiden voice for Genshin sounds similarly authoritative to Horie's performance).
A teenager galactic overlord is a fun idea. Wander over Yonder did it and Lord Dominator was a fun yet disturbing tyrant. But Galaxia is a serious character in the most dark and depressing arc of Sailor Moon. I think from what we've heard so far, Hayashibara would have made a better Tin Nyanko or Iron Mouse, but those are pretty minor characters in the manga as far as I remember, so I doubt they wanted to waste her star power on them.

Oissu!Refresh my memory. When is the new movie happening? I know it’s in May, but I don’t remember the exact day. ^_^;;
I like to keep my audience riveted.Part 1 will be released on June 9 and Part 2 will be released on June 30 (Usagi's birthday).
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I thought it was May. ^_^;; Thanks. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.I wonder how many people realize Kotono Mitsuishi didnt voice Sailor Moon for the iconic finale of the first season. Kae Araki did such a wonderful job.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. So, there's now a buzz going on after what seems to be a recent talk with Takeuchi. She'd done some new Sailor Moon art as part of a promotion with Chanel, so I'm guessing she was interviewed for it, but I can't find the actual interview itself.
What's getting people hyped up is that (if this is accurate) Takeuchi said something about how she had an idea for a new Senshi. So now there's a lot of speculation over whether or not there's going to be a new installment of the franchise after Cosmos. Now, again, I have no idea where this originated or what the legitimacy of this statement is, but if this *is* true, then it leaves me intrigued.
There is some potential room for exploration with both Crystal Tokyo and Chibiusa's life before and after her time traveling stints. Hell the reveal of the Amazoness quartet being corrupted versions for her fellow senshi/bodyguards means there is already a supporting cast ready to go.

There's absolutely a lot of fun that could be done with moving the setting to Crystal Tokyo and focusing on Chibiusa and the Quartet. Even just fleshing the Quartet out some would be fun. For all of Super S's many, MANY faults, they did a good job giving the Quartet some much-needed character.
If not that, then maybe a timeskip to a year or two into Usagi's time as a high school student, or maybe even Usagi as a college student. Could be interesting to show Usagi a little older, a little more mature, and facing adulthood.
But overall, the worry I'd have is, in a hypothetical situation where Toei decides to produce a continuation of Sailor Moon, if they would actually be willing to go down that route or not. It'd be relatively easy for them to just go the nostalgia bait route and do a bland continuation from Stars.
There is also the option of setting up a pair of post original ending movies leading into the continuation a la Dragon Ball.
Though sicne Sailor already sued Super twice, the continuation is gonna need a new title. Z or Grand Tour perhaps?
So which version are people more satisfied with at this point: 90s Sailor Moon or Sailor Moon Crystal?
IMHO the 90s Sailor Moon is better, mostly because Crystal was just a bit too stiff and exprssionless.
I'd put the 2003-04 Live Action Toku show as second.
90's was way better but the manga could have been adapted correctly and that thought makes me extremely sad.

Oof, that Galaxia voice is extremely unfitting. Way too young sounding, not very menacing at all. She sounds like an angry teenager, not a woman bringing the galaxy to its collective knees.
