That's a seriously spineless move by Keurig to apologize like that. Hell, I'm pretty sure all those belligerent arseholes who smashed their Keurigs in a gross misunderstanding of boycott are gonna be buying a new one come Black Friday.

I have one, but considering that my family bought it like half a decade ago, it's with me and I don't drink coffee, I'll hold onto it as a water heater. The water temperature is perfect for steeping black tea, so it's not like the company's gonna get any more of my money than what they already have.

Yeah, I'm at least 99% Chinese and I still think the USA needs to take the threats posed by the current Russian and Chinese governments more seriously.
Maybe someday they will be friends and allies. But not as long as both are being run by people who have a Zero Sum Game mindset.

@Rational: Literally mentioning HUAC by name and implying it should come back makes it patently obvious which side of that line you fall on.

To be fair, Capsase is right that the HUAC coming back was brought up in a neutral-to-positive way, so I can understand being nervous about that.
The very same. They pulled advertising from Hannity due to his support of Pedophile Moore, and that pissed off everyone with enough of a defective moral compass to still side with Moore (to the point that breaking Keurig coffee-makers has gone viral). Now they're backpedaling and pissing off people who don't abide kid-diddlers and rapists like Moore.

Cap, I didn't bring up HUAC, let alone in a positive light. And, FYI, I do fall on the side that believes reenacting The Crucible is a terrible idea.
Our real target needs to be the bastards over in Moscow who are determined to undermine us at any cost. Now, that may mean taking measures (proportionate ones, in line with the rule of law and the constitution of the country in question) against their proxies in our own countries, if they are breaking the laws. It does not mean giving the authorities clearance to hold another Red Scare.

I just wonder why so many American people keep giving this Republican party the benefit of the doubt.
We gave them the benefit on terrorism and the wars in the Middle East.
We gave them the benefit of the doubt on the economy and deregulation.
We gave them the benefit of the doubt on immigration.
We gave them the benefit of the doubt on the War on Drugs.
Some queer people gave Trump the benefit of the doubt, and we're seeing how that's going.
