I came across this French Preview which I ran through Google Translate:

Shit this game sounds amazing. Unless there's some kind of bad word of mouth I'm definitely getting this.

It certainly sounds fun, at least. I like that flexibility to choose between being a ghost, getting in and out unseen, and kicking in the door and raising Cain, so to speak. Hopefully it'll be a little trickier than in Bethesda's other games (or even Metal Gear) where the only reason you can choose to do either one is because neither option is particularly difficult.

Yeah, this definitely looks good. Can't wait 'till it comes out!

I am unbelievably psyched for this game. As a die hard Deus Ex fan, this hits all the right buttons for me.

I'm sort of considering checking out Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, since that seems to be a prime influence. I take it it's good?

Yes, the gameplay is excellent despite the rest of it (graphics, sound, story) being mediocre, but you should find some sort of patch first. It's kind of buggy.

Well, that's not very good news. I tend to prioritize good writing in my games...

The gameplay is superb though. Just watch a video of it, or try to fish up the demo.

Speaking of gameplay, the first gameplay footage of Dishonored has released and it's... A 3-second long GIF file. Oh well, E3's only a week or so away.

Dark Messiah's plot was not exactly bad, but quite generic. Something about sealed evils in a can, a Mc Guffin, etc. I don't even remember it well.

I just realised this game comes out 2 days before my birthday, so assuming my parents get it that sorts out the money issue.

The previews for the game so far look freaking amazing. If even 50% of that stuff is true and not just hype and lies then this game will be awesome.

I love the look on that guy's face as Corvo lands on him with the sword. He actually looks surprised and not just plainfaced like how it was in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Granted, pimp-slapping hoes with my augs was fun, but their facial expressions never changed when I did that stuff to them.

Apparently, there's gonna be a gameplay trailer on Spike TV's Game Trailers Thursday. Can't wait. Hopefully they didn't fuck this up. It sounds great on paper.

What's Bethesda's track record with Region Price increases and Steam?

Did original I Ps like Brink and Hunted launch in Australia at the same price as US or am I going to have to pay freaking $90 to get the game at launch?

Brink was the same price at launch, if I recall correctly. It's been some time since I bought it.

Tonight's the night for some Dishonored footage on Spike TV's Game Trailers. About 1 AM, US East Coast time. Hopefully it's good and not terrible like the new Hitman game.

I wish there was a clearer idea of gameplay, like actual footage of the character playing a component of the level or something. It still looks pretty sweet.

I love the setting. And the music from the trailer was nice.

Looks pretty good. Weird that they don't keep a consistent age for the Empress apparently (she sounds like a grown woman in the debut trailer but is apparently a little girl in that trailer)

It looks really good, though. Powers look really creative.

Well, E3 is next week, so we should get some new footage there.

But damn, that was a sexy trailer. Textures are a bit mediocre, but the animations are pretty good. Nice to see the Dark Messiah combat making a return, and the powers look pretty neat. Also, that animation where he pulled out his dagger was awesome. So far, it seems to be getting good reception. Only people who hate it seem to believe that it is being made by Bethesda, which is obviously wrong because Bethesda can't make combat to save their lives, or of the opinion that because Bethesda makes bad games themselves, then somehow they will influence Arkane Studios to dumb it down. Admittedly, I do not really want to give Bethesda money after the incident with Obsidian, but I'm not going to judge a game by its publisher. Well, unless it's EA, but that's because EA is confirmed to be a huge meddler in development.

EDIT:That's not the Empress. The Empress got stabbed to death by the teleporting guy in the beginning. Girl's her daughter or sister, probably.

Ah, okay. I thought that was a lady that had had the girl murdered and the dude that stabbed her was the protagonist.

That was a really creepy rendition of "What Do We Do With A Drunken Sailor", though.

That trailer was amazing. This game is now on Beary's radar.
