What if I told you Wapeach already exists canonically?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.
I did say that in the last page, but I agree.
Oh yeah, Shokora had different forms depending on the endings.
Funny thing is 'Shokora' is a transliteration of 'chocolate.'
The Protomen enhanced my life.Oh, I must've missed that, my bad.
But then the question remains: who would be the Watoad?
pretty sure goombas are watoads
Song of the SirensI can see logic in "Captain Syrup is Wapeach" but I don't know how I feel about it. On the one hand, no epic moustache. But on the other hand, peach syrup is really good on pancakes.
I'm torn.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Remember, in her debut appearance, Syrup did steal a golden statue of Peach.
Then Mario stole it back with the Sky Pop.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I, for one, think that Peach and Captain Syrup work as rivals on the basis that Peach is royalty, kind and beloved by her people, while Captain Syrup is a pirate, stealing from those higher up on the insocial ladder. And much like Wario envies Mario's fame, Captain Syrup envies Peach, jealous of all her riches and luxurious lifestyle as a princess (that Syrup thinks she herself deserves).
Going a little deeper, it'd be fun if Captain Syrup is jealous that Peach is adored by her subjects, while she herself is a pirate, feared at best, and hated at worst, destined to sail the seas with nobody but her pirate crew... not that she'd ever admit that out loud.
Aside from the fact that a giant golden statue of a princess fetches quite a pretty penny, this is probably a subconscious motivation for her theft: "Why should Peach have all the glory? I'll take it, because I deserve it more!"
Incidentally, I did draw something about this a few weeks back...
I'm reminded of a theory that Azalea from Mario Golf is modern Daisy's body double.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Since you asked, I suppose it's only appropriate to point this out.
Since Waluigi is based on Boyacky, the tall skinny guy, then Wario would presumably be based on Tonzura, the guy on the right. A Wapeach would have thus been based on Doronjo, the lady in the middle, but Miyamoto was like "nah."

Wario clearly isn't based on that guy...
Waluigi was also created...8 years later by different people.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I could see enough of parallel being drawn there, Waluigi being tall and skinny while Wario is shorter and more obese.
Marjo, Walther and Grocky crying in the corner
Sequel Displacement has not been kind to you

I don't recall the Mario series having that many female villains, but I suppose if anyone had to fill in as a counterpart of the "Terrible Trio consisting of a Fat and Skinny male duo and a Stripperiffic female." then Captain Syrup might fit the bill the best in that. Maybe Wario and Waluigi would even be willing to be her henchmen if she paid them enough. lol
Kaley fit that role in the BFF Friends in Bowser Jr's Journey.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Would Kaley be a better Wapeach than Syrup?
I'd say no cause she merges with the others into a monster and then they explode.
The Protomen enhanced my life. That reminds me...it's complete nonsense that people think Mario spin-offs can't introduce new things.
Bowser Jr's Journey has new enemies in it, new unique enemies that aren't even from the original game.
It seems like they're just bosses, but it still counts.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.The Mario movie has a different script in Japan to cater to Japanese tastes. I'm really curious as to what it will be like, especially since Sonic Frontiers had a vastly different script in Japanese than the original English.
“Since we were creating this movie in both Japan and the United States, we thought we should make a Japanese version as well.
…when we decided to make this movie, we discussed creating a unique Japanese script from the beginning. Even if we were shown an English script, it would be hard to understand the subtle nuances.
…For this Japanese version, we wanted to create a script that wouldn’t be awkward when compared to Chris’s [the director] version, so we were involved in various ways up until the voice recording.”
The Protomen enhanced my life.Shroobs
They do already have a Shroobsworth.
Maybe Nintendo is trying to put more of a spotlight on the DK series. I assumed this would just be DK, maybe Diddy. I didn't expect Dixie, Funky and Cranky too.
-Witty line-
but what if I told you that Captain Syrup serves as a Wapeach
