Sounds good, go for it.
Fight smart, not fair.Only 35 wicks for Main.Valis, so it should be a relatively quick job. Go for it, sure.
Rhymes with "Protracted."This a perfect example of why Mainspacing a work is a bad idea. Make the change.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Just to make sure, is the official namespace for Video Games: "Game/", "Games/", "VideoGame/", or "VideoGames/"?

Basically all of the links to Main/Valis should be to the game, not the book, so that should be easy to fix.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.According to the Article count page,
- the Game/ namespace has 152 pages
- The Video Game/ namespace contains 39 pages,
- Video Games/ has 26,
- Tabletop Games/ has 9
- and these have 1:
- Tabletop Game/
- Collectible Card Game/
- Fan Games/
Going by that, I'd say fold it into either Game, if we want to keep all games together, or into Video Game, if it's worth making the distinction between video games and other types of games.
- Looking at it from the point of view of what's easiest to do right now, it would be "put them all into Game."
- Looking at it in terms of what will work the longest into the future, making the distinction between Video Games and Other Types Of Games will prevent more future collisions than lumping all games together will.
- But that means that the by-far-the-largest namespace (with well over twice as many pages as all of the other game-related namespaces combined) would need to be broken up and redistributed.
- How likely is it that a video game and a non-video game will have a name collision before the franchise is big enough to have its own namespace (like Warhammer?) Personally, I think slim.
My inclination is to lump them all in the Game/ namespace.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I'm pretty sure the Wiki Talk thread about this issue was in favor of syncing the namespaces to the Media Categories when possible, but we never got an official conclusion. I'd prefer to go with VideoGame/. Off the top of my head, it would be kind of awkward if we tried to put the Pokemon video games in the same namespace as the trading card game.

Rhymes with "Protracted."Just putting this here so that we could just copy and paste it to the main Valis page once we decide what namespace Video games should go to.
Personally, I'd also prefer VideoGame/, since it'd make things more consistent with the categories (and thus easier for more casual editors).

So, uhh... since everyone seems to agree that the move should be done, I'll start doing the move sometime tomorrow. I'll be using the VideoGame/ namespace. If there are any objections, please mention it as soon as possible. <<;
Thanks
Move in progress...
EDIT: Move done. Nearly all Valis links had also been redirected to VideoGame/Valis. The only exceptions are the one in Orgoroth (which I redirected to Literature/Valis) and the ones in troper pages. Hopefully, I did everything properly. <<;
I'll leave this open for a few days in case there's any last minute objections, and then I'll call for a lock.

There are two works with the name of Valis that has no relation to each other: the book by Phillip K Dick, and the game by Telnet. Currently, the book is in Literature/Valis while the video game is in the main Valis page, so a little bit of switching is probably needed.
EDIT: Oh phooey. Link in the title got screwed up. <<;
