My Little Pony, pre-FIM

I thought of doing a rewrite of the Movie with the Friendship is Magic cast (which would fix like half its problems just on its own).

Of course, that would mean the first humans we see in Equestria would be in there.

Humans in Equestria - that is a problem.

I mean, you can easily write out Megan, but the witches take up just as much screen time as the ponies.

Also, the only way of bringing g1 stuff in was if Scorpan was the ruler of Everfree Forest.

Witches are also problem. It can be easly fixed by making them ponies or other animals.

I would personally either turn the witches into ponies, or else find some other cause for the Smooze.

Oh oh oh I got one—what if the Smooze was an accidental creation of The Great and Powerful Trixie?

Has potential, and given Trixi—The Great And Powerful Trixie's nature, it seems likely to happen.

I haven't watched Fi M, but posts like that make me wonder if I should. Guess I'll wait til the hype dies down.

....Also, i just realized Wind Whistler's symbol was actual whistles in the wind. i thought it was birds or something.

You should. The first season just finished, and it really is the best incarnation of My Little Pony yet.

FIM in a nutshell:

• First two episodes pretty epic
• Rest are kinda silly slice of life
• Characters are really engaging,so it's not a minus

Are any of the older generation productions worth watching? Just out of curiosity.

I keep hearing about the episodes with Grogar, Lavan, and the Nazi Penguins are pretty good.

Just watched Rescue at Midnight Castle.

It was , well , average or below average, what is standard for 80s (i dont have nostalgia filter for that times).

Ponies wasn't that bad, they dont make me hate or stop liking ponies. Megas should not be there horever she wasn't that anoying.

Tirac was cool, especally when hidden it shadow, with only hand and voice, when he show rest of his body he lose little coolnes, But most of his coolnest and badplottery (hehe :P) got away when he was defeated, what wasn't epic at all , at least his minion siding with Ponies was thing what save them before climax. Nightame Moon was more epic. And she could kich Tirac plot easly.

Hmm I think that Sea Ponies were more creepy thant Tirac, because seriously what the hell is with those creatures?

Are Tirac return in other episodes?

Now I going to watch some MLPFIM episodes to reper damage done by this.

Tirac and the Sea Ponies don't, but Baby Sea Ponies show up in the TV show. The adults only got two sets and the babies got five, if I recall.

I was interested in Tirac only not those Old Ones spawns : P

Tirac or other similar bad guys.

There was that bad guy in Return to Tambelon. I forget his name but he was pretty dangerous.

Yeah, that guy! He enslaved the Little Ponies AND the Flutter Ponies!

Maybe I'll stick with the G1 series awhile longer. You guys are making it sound like it eventually gets good again.

One thing I do notice that G1 series seems to have more EVIL than Fi M.

I have question. Are those Evil are allways defeated in way that Tirac was?

After watching Grogar story I starting to belive it's true. That every bad guy no mather how cool and powerfull is defeated in lame way.

And Grogar could never conquer Equestria (at least in that way how he conquer Ponyland).

According a review I've found somewhere, Tirac got ripped apart by the Rainbow and blew up the pieces.

It's sound cooler than what really hapen.

Some evil villains get redeemed, while others just get defeated.
