Character Development Thread--Discussion

Only Joseph, Marie, and Nasur are in the elevator. Will's Claire and Lulu, daird's Rebecca, and the rest of Masterofchaos's group are still in the lobby/dining area. That said, Masterofchaos, might your other characters be doing something while Marie is gone? Seems like you haven't posted for them since her departure.

Sorry for the continued delay - things have been hectic here. Hope to get something done in the next few days. Every time I think I'll work on it, something else crops up.

Creative hour was a little unproductive today, and I sense a bit of a longer post coming up. I'll shoot for tomorrow, but it could take a little longer.

Got classes starting up again in a couple days, but it's virtual for the first few weeks so hopefully the burnout will be kept at bay for a while. Commutes just kill me. :\

Yeah, likewise. Fortunately, in the wake of the lockdowns of the last two years, my employer is more receptive to people working from home and I've been able to negotiate 2 days per week where I don't have to commute.

It's amazing how much easier the week is to cope with when you don't have to drive into town and back every day.

Enjoy your virtual/telecommute time.

Will hopefully do. Things shouldn't be so bad if/when we switch back to in person though; I was more careful with my class selection this semester, so I should have roughly half the week virtual.

Man, I would have been a much more successful student had I been doing virtual learning ages ago. But I know that's not for everyone. More accommodations all around, I say.

Trying to compose a post for Adventure, but I'm having difficulty discerning which characters are actually talking to mine, since so many of them are just listed as being in "Hotel Lobby", with no specifics as to where in the lobby they are.

My understanding is that they're all in a shared space in the dining area of the lobby. But yeah, it'd be helpful to try and maintain more explicit character locations for clarity's sake. I find the grounding of things spatially lends itself to better writing.

On the subject of Adventure, does anyone object to the time advancing to the next hour?

Got some space here these next few days, but I foresee a rather busy semester just based on the early stuff. Math in sheep's clothing is what it is!

School of the more difficult variety has crept back upon me, and things are going to happen in two of the three zones I'm writing for. I've got a large portion of the stairwell group written for, but only ideas and a line or two for the rest. If I can get some algorithm stuff learned today, I may have some spare time to write tomorrow.

If it means anything, I should have some more pictures to share after this next post.

Kay, posted about half my stuff. I'll need from now to the end of Monday (at least :| ) for school. Should help not having all of this hanging over my head though. Henry and Davey next time.
