If Capcom says no, Akuma just vanished when the Volcano exploded, Kazuya won by default.

Trying to make things complicated by going 7 happened but they happened with a completely different character filling in for Akuma so unless you are playing 7 its always this character is juts being obtuse

What's your guys' thoughts on Claudio Serafino coming back on 8? And what do you think of his redesign?

His return was expected. His redesign fits given some of his alternative pieces in 7. Not really much to it. I'm more interested in the return of 7's new characters who didn't appear in the story mode.

Pretty much. I was unenthused until someone mentioned his fighting style being Jojo poses. That got a chuckle out of me.

How can this track go so hard?!

Unlike Tekken the main bad guys don't really have a significant organization fighting back. a lot of these people enter the KOTIF for money or revenge. Lars, Jin, Alisa, and Lee seem to be focused on stopping Kazuya now but that took like 7 games.

Thinking about that, did Kazuya seriously decide to host another'' tournament in the middle of a world war.

A couple of stages are set in arenas with cheering crowds. If there is no tournament, why are those arenas filled with audiences?

My befuddlement is more about why did Kazuya that.

Complete list of interactions from the beta, it's only missing a few rage arts interactions (they are a thing too). For example, did you know Kazuya will not kick Jun if he K Os her with the rage art? (Such a wholesome man, will beat the shit out of her baby mama slightly)

And as usual, Asuka has no interactions outside of Lili. She just keeps taking Ls

I know, right? Fucking miserable. I actually kinda hope in story Jun calls her out on this. But I guess people will ignore that in favour of "LOL LOOK AT EM GO ASULILI SO FUUNNI" because key jangling is just that effective.

What are the odds that Kazuya gets a costume and hairstyle that makes him look like his father.

"Sexless" my ass. Asuka is Lili's bottom bitch and nothing can change my mind.

Imagine how funny it would be if Jin, Kazuya, and Jun actually get some fairly compelling stuff in the game's story while Jun's cousin gets absolutely nothing.

With how people are reacting here, I get the feeling funny is not what many will be feeling.

As an asexual, there's nothing wrong with a sexless marriage.

I mean, nothing about Asuka's role as a Kazama has been relevant since her debut game. Hell, not even her hatred of Feng went that much further; canon-wise she never even met the man, and the only other acknowledgement of that one-sided feud was the fact that Asuka had a -2 Netsu rating towards Feng in Tag 2 while he was indifferent to her. They all dumped that in the wayside in favor of lumping her in with Lili, and apparently Lili buying the Kazama dojo from Asuka's ending in T7 is canon, so I wouldn't be surprised if all she gets in T8 is just more Lili.

This seems like it's damaging both of them in the long run.

Unless you're a big Yuri fan.

This ending is worth it in my opinion.

If you can't beat'em, invalidate their physical victory by reminding them of how financially insignificant they are and literally buy their residence out from under them.

She was given that surname so that she can have Jun's movelist from 2 and Tag 1. Of course this was Tekken 5, and after this, Harada stopped giving a hoot about consistency (to the point he had to personally tell fans that Jinpachi was never possessed by the Devil Gene).

It's funny how Devil was different or "retconned" each game

Tekken 1: A secret skin and the final boss if you play as Heihachi, hinting at Kazuya's true nature

Tekken 2: Kazuya made a deal with the devil to climb the cliff he was thrown in. Now dominates Kazuya's life.

Tekken 3: Devil saves itself in an unborn Jin. Resurfaces after Heihachi betrays Jin

Tekken 4: Scratch all that. Devil is not an outside entity but a genetic aspect of Kazuya and Jin.

Tekken 5: And it skipped a generation as Devil is part of the Mishima bloodline since Jinpachi has it but Heihachi doesn't

Tekken 6: Ackchually, the devil originated with this dude sealed in some part of the middle east that requires WW3 to release.

Tekken 7: No wait, the devil gene actually comes from this clan of assassins that Kazuya's mother belonged to. Jinpachi? Nah that was just Greg the poltergeist being quirky.

Now watch as Tekken 8 introduces the Angel gene from the Kazamas or some bullshit. And yes, it skipped a generation as Asuka is lesbian useless and pointless apparently.
