She kind of is the best.

Isn't that one of the explicit themes of the show? That she causes people to open up?

Eh I like Minko the most because from the little bit I have seen she seems to be the most competent of the four. Also her bitchiness is endearing.

Endearing is the exact opposite word that I would use but milages have been known to vary.

Get to my level, guys. I like all of them.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Finally got around to picking this back up. Only up to episode 10 but I remember why I enjoyed it back when I was keeping up and still do.

Just started watching this. Now I'm 4 episodes in.

It makes me feel like watching ARIA in a sense, with inn instead of gonolier.

And Ohana entered herself in my list of cutest characters. I would put her I the level of Sakura Chiyo.

Heck yeah, Ohana was my driving motivation for watching this one.

[up][up]

The show could have done better with a tighter focus however, especially during the middle portion (which is generally considered the weakest part of the series).

A part of me wishes this show would get a sequel, but my rational side knows that they've done practically all they can do with the whole Ryokan setting, and trying to force a sequel would only ruin it.

[up] Spiritual sequel it is then!

Watched 3~6.

Let's see.

Ep 3: Goddamn, the writer of this episode must have been in a really horny mood. Dat Nyako.

Ep 6: I'm pretty sure it's illegal to put a couple of 15 year olds in that kind of dress.

Watching Ep 7.

I love the running animation. It amuses me.

Also, the whole military schtick reminds me of one of P. A. Works' previous work, Angel Beats!.

Watched up to ep 10.

Eeeeeyeeaaarrrrgggghhhhh, it's getting boring. And I'm pretty conditioned to Slice of Life serieses.

Also, this episode was also mostly boring, maybe except the part where Minko was laughing, thinking about pranking her. Also, sick Ohana is a cute Ohana.

[up] Like Myssa said, the middle part is unfortunately weak. It was easier to swallow on a one-episode-per-week basis.
