I know they're technically faster for grinding.

But I much prefer the XBC 1 system.

I feel like it doesn't interrupt exploring as much, and encourages you to wander around and look at stuff. Rather than just finding a node that gives what you need, then resetting and beelining your way back to it.

But how else would you heal your aching soul?

Honestly if they just did collection points like 2 but automatically collected them like 1, I'd be satisfied. Best of both worlds.

I watched the Future Connect cutscenes because there was no way I was going to buy the first game again. I thought that DLC was suppose to connect the two games, but it wasn't about anything.

Well, of course. 2 isn't the future of 1, 3 is. I'm not dismissing the chance it's setting up the groundwork for whatever's the deal with Melia in 3.

I still need to play the first game period. It's frustrating not being able to do that.

Edit: I did watch a walkthrough of it on Youtube a long time ago. Right now all I haven't seen is Future Connected.

As things stand, I may have to cave in and watch that on Youtube as well.

I don't know if this has been stated before, but Fun (Sad?) Fact: The moment the fusion and implied pairing up of Taion and Eunie, people on 4chan and other far-right sites went absolutely fucking nuclear only because Taion is black-coded and their fused form has what looks like a tramp stamp just above the crotch. You can imagine why. It's both hilarious and deeply sad.

That's their Ourabourous thing, like what the other two fusions have in their chest.

I hope it doesn't reward keeping low affinity anymore.

Based on what I'm seeing, the system looks like 2's Aux Core refining. Feed an Ether Crystal and refine it with items.

Also, Riku does the refining alone.

Forgot to add:

Noah's talent art. Does increased damage to dazed enemies.

Mio's. Aggro gen and extra dodge.

There's also a brief moment during the video showing Noah's talent art with Sena switching to a Shield and another weapon, almost confirming we will be using the weapons of the seventh party members for more attacks.

I hope we don't have to grind too much for monster materials. Or that there's a way to obtain them more reliably (ie money).

A later patch for 2, and the DE remake for 1, added in the ability to buy a lot of tough-to-obtain items, so I imagine they're aware of what a pain it can be.

Today's post is about Valdi. Valdi is a weaponsmith and a healer in battle.

Also, there is some confusion on Valdi's gender at the moment thanks to machine translations and Valdi's androgyny.

Could there be a guest party member for every chapter of the game?

Given my existential dread of scalpers, thank the Zohar that 1) they've not said yet the specific time pre-orders go live, 2) are implementing a "no more than 2 per order" rule, and 3) I work the graveyard shift tonight and have Thursday off, so even if they don't go live until the daytime I can just stay up until my order is in.

No clue, that tweet above is all they've said. If anyone can find the Japanese price that may give an idea? I think they've been able to pre-order already but not sure

Ifn' I had to guess the price, I'd say it'd probably be in the $80-$100 dollar range, accounting for what past special editions cost
