I forget if Ophelia rolls like this or not, but assuming it's the golden deer thing I remember there being a similar unique monster in the main game that'd deal a lot of damage to anyone standing immediately behind it when it autoattacked, usually twoshotting them. Might be good to control whichever AI partner it is that keeps going back there to minimize how much damage it does.
Otherwise, best I can offer for a strat is the usual "set up and set off a Full Burst then pray for the remaining health if there's any"
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaIt is.
Yeah, I found that out after looking it up.
That might be a good idea...except it seems the one who ends up behind him is whoever I'm not controlling, so it doesn't matter.
Then again, maybe if I personally control team Hugo I might get somewhere.
Edit: And that didn't work either! Someone always runs behind him! HOW DO I FUCKING STOP IT?!!!

One Strip! One Strip!Ophelia is a feminine name, so I assume it's female, yes.
Glad I could help you with your difficulties with this Unique Monster.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I think I'll just need to level up some more or something.
That way, if I get a chain attack going fast enough, I can hit him hard enough to end him before he can kill me.
Though it won't do any good if my AI characters keep running behind him on their own, I just don't know how to fix that at all.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post: Where do I get Nest Extract in Torna?
In fact, I'm having a few difficulties finding specific ingredients for the remaining recipes and charms.
It's a little irking to be honest.
One Strip! One Strip! It's in the deserts. You get them from killing the skeeter nests.
Where there's life, there's hope.My mistake, it's in the desert part of the area of Addam's castle.
Where there's life, there's hope. The skeeter nests are on the cliff road on the way to the village
Heart of StoneYeha. I found them.
Took care of a few more quests too, and got to community level 3.
Still working on a few final things (making everyone's crafting / cooking items for one, which is stumping since I always seem to be missing at least one ingredient for everyone).
All the affinity charts are nearly full in fact.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post: Got up to community level 4, and all that.
Still a few more quest to do, and some more work on the affinity charts. I'm nearly done with everyone too.
Man, I sure do love that all the work I'm doing helping everyone in this city is going to be rendered completely moot soon.
One Strip! One Strip!Triple Post.
Only one quest left, but still a few nodes left on most charts. It's getting annoying filling them to be honest.
Anyway, welcome to Torna, where the future is bright, hope is totally cool, and Malos will never destroy anything on that particular Titan ever again.
Edit: Finished the last (for now I think) Sidequest Community Spirit. Still have a few nodes left to fill on the Affinity chart of all my characters except Brighid.
I need nine more people for Community Level 6, but only have six left. I still need a few more locations for Ageon to max out his chart, and one more secret location for Minoth, along with two more book copies.
The last few things are cooking for most of them, or filling the Community for Mythra and Jin.
....but now I'm gonna kill Ophelia, then continue with the story.
Edit 2: Forgot to mention I haven't gotten through all the seals yet in the Cavern of the Seal, and am also missing a final pouch upgrade for Hugo.

One Strip! One Strip!Alright.
I finally made it to the last level and got the last plate to make it to the....treasure hoarding Nopon inside.
He gives me some manuals for some unique monsters to kill...but I only had enough cash for three of them....and their levels are pretty high (I'm only higher than the level 65 one, and only by two at that).
I'm maxed out all the blades affinity charts except for Mythra, who probably needs two more people for community, but the drivers still need a bit more before they make it. I also haven't maxed all the attacks for the blades either.
So close to being done. Malos is right there waiting for me. But I've never been good at fighting really high level unique monsters (as in higher than me) unless I'm higher than them, so as it is, I may just have to win the game and then come back for the bastards.
One Strip! One Strip!I do think that's the idea, yeah. The actual "final" sidequest can be done without him (you probably know which one it was since it had an air of finality to it) while getting the little money grubbed into your Community is tied to killing every Bonus Boss.
I'm not sure if they expect you to powerlevel or not but be assured, the final fight is much lower-leveled than the final of the golden Unique Monsters.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse Alberiayeah I utterly steamrolled the final boss after doing the bonus bosses so you might want not do that first.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."So I guess I should just fight him and do the final bit in the post game then?
It annoys me because I can't fill Mythra's Affinity chart or finish the community as it is currently, and I'm literally two characters away from doing both too.
One Strip! One Strip!Iirc you don't need to finish the superbosses to finish Mythra's chart. There are enough unique monsters without them.
I don't need them for the unique monsters.
I still have two people left in Community, and I need that to finish her chart.
I assumed killing the super bosses would help with that, since one of them came from that (the Nopon who gives you the info on them), and the other is just an old woman who refuses to join everyone else.
One Strip! One Strip!I could of sworn you could get that node without the Unique Monster-tied NP Cs, maybe I'm misremembering.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaEverybody but those two are on the community. They are the only two left, and I only have two more to fill it up.
I can only assume that beating those monsters must put them on the list.
One Strip! One Strip! The old grandma only needs the regular unique monsters killed. The ancient Nopon requires the golden bosses to be killed. Separate requirements.
I've killed every regular Unique monster, so I'm not sure why grandma...
oh wait. I get it. There was still one left in the path to Malos that I hadn't gotten yet. Ok, I'll go visit her now.
That still leaves the Nopon, and I'm just not strong enough to kill those dudes yet, so it still looks like I can't finish it before I finish the game.
One Strip! One Strip! Here's an idea:
Get grandma, defeat Malos, come back and grind so you can get the ancient Nopon, and then go back and crush Malos with your overleveled strength.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."More or less what I'm gonna do now.
One Strip! One Strip!
Triple Post:
Working on some Quests.
Also trying very hard to kill Beatific Ophelia...but wow. That thing is brutal.
I actually managed to get a blade attack going, but botched the order and wasn't able to keep it going for a full burst.
The rest of the time, he keeps murdering me before I can build up for a chain attack, and he completely blocks break 90% of the time, so I can slow his ass down.
What the fuck? He's impossible.
...or is it she?
