I just got killed unexpectedly by Territorial Rotbart.
Ahhh, good times.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That happened to me like three times. It sucked.
Anyone know how to stop targeting an enemy? The only way I’ve found is to open a menu, and that doesn’t work if I’ve drawn a weapon but not started the fight yet. It’s driving me crazy.
Hold R and press B.
Pulse, are you here? Can we expect your commentary as you play through?

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Thank you!
Seems like yet another JRPG where the main character is easily the least compelling of the main cast, whether in design, voice, or backstory. Shame because I thought the first game did a pretty good job with Shulk aside from that one dumbass moment.
That's a really common problem in general, especially with japanese stuff aimed at younger people. It's surprisingly hard finding a work where the MC is actually the most compelling character, which IMO is dumb.
I don't know that much about Rex or his development in the game, but if he is the type of generic shounen MC that's dime a dozen in JRPG's (which is the impression the trailers have given me), then yeah by default he'd probably be pretty boring.

Rex is interesting when he talks about salvage work. That drops off quickish and hasn't come back yet.
Quick question but how do you stop item pouch items from reoccurring? I have some that I want to reuse and others I just want to play around with.
Really? I'm finding Rex pretty engaging and fun thus far, especially in his banter with Nia.
Granted, I only just met Tora so I'm not very far.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! To be honest, I didn't think Shulk was that interesting either on his own merits. It was mostly his interactions with the other characters that were fun to watch.
It wasn't until the Monado got an upgrade that he became interesting for me.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectAnyone else find it super annoying and weird that your running speed is really slow but your swimming speed is really fast?
Rex is actually part mako shark.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Is there any equivalent of Quick Step Gem?
Xenoblade 1's base speed is slow too.
Why don't you just ride Dromarch?

Where there's life, there's hope."Poppi could lift Gonzalez if necessary!"
...Please tell me she's referring to Immovable Gonzalez. Please tell me he's here too, like Territorial Rotbart.
He's the other best Unique Monster from XC 1.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Yes Gonzalez is here.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. But can Poppi move him?
Where there's life, there's hope.Oh yeah I ran into Gonzalez. And since he now starts in a reclining position, he will be moved by Poppi if you play as Tora.
That is all I need to hear. 12/10 best game.
Where there's life, there's hope.Do I eventually get a Poppi beta or something to allow Tora to switch blades? Or am I just missing something?
You can get her after a story event.

Where there's life, there's hope.But... but you can't move Immovable Gonzalez.
Poppi truly goes above and beyond the impossible.
(Where is Gonzalez by the way? I wanna go see him in his unbudging majesty.)

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Uhhh... you know where you cross over the two sides of Golmott, where the Nose Gogols are? Keep going up. He's at the mouth of a cave.
Does anyone know how to release Blades you've upgraded? My first Blade got chip'd, but since she's a 1* I want to fire her yet cannot.
EDIT:HAHA YES, I found a store title that boosts run speed!

Rex is really the only voice I have issues with, and it's only the repeatedly mentioned times where the voice actor sounds like he's holding back.
